## What is QAYTA?

Subscriptions add up quietly. QAYTA shows the real total and warns you before each charge.

Setup takes one screenshot. Open your Apple subscriptions, take a screenshot and pick it in QAYTA: the phone reads the names, prices and renewal dates itself and puts them in a list for you to check. The image never leaves your device.

What you get:

- Monthly and yearly totals at a glance
- Upcoming charges: what is billed, how much and when
- A breakdown by category, so you see where the money actually goes
- A hint about which subscription to check first, and what cancelling it returns per year
- Free trials with their own reminder, before the first charge lands
- Pause and cancel without losing the history
- Spending history: what you have already paid, month by month
- 38 currencies, each subscription in its own, with your own exchange rate
- Reminders 1, 2, 3, 5 or 7 days ahead, one message per day instead of a flood
- Export to CSV

Your data stays with you. QAYTA has no accounts and no servers of its own: everything you enter lives on your phone and travels only in its own backup. The app is free thanks to occasional ads; the ad network receives technical device data only, never your subscriptions.

And a small arcade: three games made out of the things you pay for, for when you are done being sensible about money.

### 1.5 — 2026-09-14

Reading from a screenshot got more accurate.

• Prices in tenge are no longer read many times too high. The currency sign is understood even when the phone mistakes it for a digit.
• Amounts are no longer lost on rows where a long plan name runs right up to the price.
• The first row shows the service name instead of a date.
• A subscription you already have is not added a second time. If the screenshot shows a different price or date, QAYTA offers to update the one you have.

### 1.4 — 2026-09-14

Subscriptions no longer have to be typed in by hand.

• Read from a screenshot. Open your Apple subscriptions, take a screenshot, and the phone reads the names, prices and dates itself. The screenshot never leaves your device.
• Service icons come from your own screenshot, so the list shows the real ones.
• A four step visual guide for the first time.
• The list now says how many days are left instead of the date.
• New app icon.
• Prices and dates are read more accurately: tenge, pound, euro, dollar, rouble and dates with a year.
• You can pick your own picture for the icon from your photos if the service was not in the screenshot.
• The interface now speaks German, Spanish, French and Portuguese, next to English and Russian.

### 1.2 — 2026-09-05

Fixed a category chart that could claim you spend nothing. If a subscription is in a currency with no exchange rate set, its category showed a flat zero: "Music 0" while Spotify sat in the list right above it. Categories now show what could not be converted, in its own currency, instead of a zero that reads as "nothing here".

The tip at the top no longer claims a percentage of your spending when part of it is in another currency, because that share was counted only over the converted part.

If notifications are blocked for QAYTA in iPhone Settings, the home screen now says so. It used to be explained only inside Settings, where nobody looks, so the app quietly promised to warn you and never did.

Reminders are now rebuilt every time you return to the app. iOS keeps at most 64 pending notifications, so with many subscriptions the schedule ran out after about two months and stopped rolling forward on its own.

### 1.1 — 2026-08-28

Sheets now close with a downward swipe. The handle at the top was there all along, but nothing was listening to it.

Added a search field to the service catalogue, so you can type a name instead of scrolling. It understands Cyrillic spellings too, and if a service is not on the list it offers to add it by hand with the name you typed already filled in.

Fixed an amount like "5 990" being saved as 5. A space between thousands is how the app itself prints amounts, and typing it back silently divided the number by a thousand.

Also fixed: the decimal separator differed between the header and the list, a subscription's category line was cut off, the month heading in the calendar had a stray letter, the control hint in games was printed twice, and several buttons were too small to hit reliably.
