## What is Qbid?

Qbid is a local auction marketplace for Qatif and Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province. List what you want to sell, bid on what you want to buy, and talk directly to the other side — all in one simple, Arabic-first app.

HOW IT WORKS
• Browse live auctions by category — vehicles, real estate, electronics, furniture, jewellery and more.
• Place a bid, or use Buy Now for a fixed price.
• Sellers review every bid and accept the buyer they choose.
• Buyer and seller arrange payment and handover directly, then confirm the deal with a one-time code.

FOR BUYERS
• Live bidding with automatic anti-sniping time extension.
• Buy Now on selected listings.
• Full-screen photos, countdown timers, and complete bid history.
• Private chat with the seller before you commit.
• Favourites and instant alerts when new auctions are published.
FOR SELLERS
• List an item in minutes: photos, description, starting price, and duration.
• Review bidders and accept the offer that suits you.
• Cancel a sale at any stage if something goes wrong.
• Manage all your listings from one place — edit or delete anytime.

TRUST & SAFETY
• Verified accounts via mobile number (OTP) or Google sign-in.
• Trust score built from real buyer ratings after completed deals.
• Every listing is reviewed by our team before it goes live.
• Private chats are for buying and selling only and are monitored.
• Report any member directly from the chat.

 IMPORTANT — NO IN-APP PAYMENTS
Qbid is a listing and communication platform only. There are no in-app purchases and we never collect card details. Payment and handover are arranged directly between buyer and seller and confirmed with a purchase code. Sellers are responsible for their items; buyers are responsible for verifying before paying.

 COMMISSION
A transparent platform commission applies to completed sales — a flat fee on vehicles, a small percentage on real estate, and no commission on other items. The in-app calculator shows exactly what you owe before you list.
