### 2/5 — Qcrashpr

*2026-04-22*

The app is good for what it is. If it worked it would be fine, however trying to connect to any models then launching it causes it to crash instantly. No options for non mobile either

### 2/5 — Problem in the time

*2024-11-11*

The timing of chest compressions is not working and it keeps logging me out it used to work properly

### 2/5 — Cannot yet use for nls training

*2024-11-01, version 7.0.0*

App works ok but please can you update to allow for in hospital 3;1 nls ratios so this can be used on erc and rcuk courses

### 3/5 — Problem z aktualizacją

*2024-10-13, version 7.0.0*

Zamiast wyniku np 89 pokazuje tylo 8. Do tej pory wszystko działało

### 2/5 — Still waiting for Timeline

*2024-09-30*

QCPR SkillReporter was discontinued back in April in favor of transitioning to QCPR, but it’s October and we’re still waiting for access to the feature that justified the extra expense of the Resusci QCPR manikins. “In depth reporting” isn’t as good as timeline mode. Please hurry with some way to access Timeline mode via an app, even if it’s limited to the tablet version!

### 3/5 — Bluetooth permission?

*2024-03-20*

App suddenly asking for Bluetooth permission on iPhone and there’s no option to provide it.

### 3/5 — New version not aligned to iOS requirements

*2023-12-28*

This app works well on my newer iPhone and iPad, but I had been using an old iPhone to let students without a phone get the same feedback, but the new version no longer works in iOS 12.

Not a big deal because the App Store will compensate and limit the App to the latest version that would work... WRONG.

I’m fine with older devices no longer supporting updated apps. But evidently the programmers failed to align the requirements correctly and the version the App Store says would work from the device it was to be used on crashes every time it is opened.

Don’t fake making it look accessible; just get the settings right to make it work or be honest and say it won’t.

**Developer response:** Hello,
Sorry to hear you are experiencing some issues with older OS.
The app is indeed only compatible with iOS 13 and higher as stipulated on the app info page : https://apps.apple.com/us/app/qcpr/id1042221580

### 1/5 — Doesn’t Open. Update ruined it.

*2023-09-13*

Since the update, the app freezes up. Now it will not even open on my iPad. Very disappointing as I found this out during a class. Made my business look bad.

**Developer response:** Hello, Thanks for your feedback and sorry to hear you are experiencing issues. We've released several updates in the last months and we hope they've improved your app experience. If you're still experiencing problems after those app updates, you can send us an email through https://laerdal.com/support/customer-service/contact-us/ with the details about the issues you are experiencing and the phones/tablets characteristics you are using. Thanks in advance

### 1/5 — QCPR zawiesza się

*2023-09-01, version 6.1.1*

### 1/5 — Trash

*2023-08-26*

Dooodoo

### 2/5 — Disappointed

*2023-08-21*

Very disappointed in the updated graphics of this app!!! Poor quality.
Very hard to see when the students are competing in the CPR race.
It looks more like a cheap older version versus a new updated version.

**Developer response:** Hello, Thanks for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you are dissatisfied with the new QCPR App.
In order for us to improve our App, we would be happy to hear your suggestions.
You can send us an email through https://laerdal.com/support/customer-service/contact-us/ with detailed information about what you think could be improved.
Thanks in advance.

**Developer response:** Hello, sorry to hear you are experiencing issue with login. To help you the best we can, it would be great if you can send us an email through https://laerdal.com/support/customer-service/contact-us/ with details of the email you are trying to use or the precise issue you are experiencing. ### 1/5 — Can’t use new version

*2023-07-24, version 6.1.1*

Updated to the new app and every time I open app the screen goes to the laerdal white page and then shuts down. Tried using classroom and although we got in lots of issues and varying results (not the learner’s errors).
Update rubbish 7 new lifeguard trainers unimpressed and probably unlikely to use or recommend. Please sort out quickly.

### 1/5 — Crash

*2023-07-17*

Since my iPad and the application update, crash don’t let me used. Very disappointed. I can evaluate the student with the maniQuin.

**Developer response:** Hello and thanks for your feedback. It would be interesting to know on which OS your ipad is running as QCPR app is only supported from iOS 13.0 and above.

### 1/5 — Please bring back the old app

*2023-07-12, version 6.1.0*

I loved the previous version of this app and bought 3 x adult little Annie QCPR manikins, 2 x child QCPR, 2 x Baby QCPR manikins and a new IPad Pro. I was so proud of the feedback I received from my students and sang the praises of the system.
I have just returned from a 9 week holiday to find the app has updated without my knowledge and it’s now so unreliable that my students are looking at me with incredulous expressions when I have to explain that ‘it should give you feedback at this point, but it’s got a bug. I could see your CPR was very good though, so don’t worry, you’re competent’. The app fails to give feedback about 50% of the time and disconnects my manikins whilst my students are midway through the application of CPR. Please bring back the old app whilst you work to fix the new one. It just doesn’t work and I now half a few thousand pounds worth of kit that doesn’t work and I feel embarrassed using it.
My QCPR app version is 6.1.0 and my iPad IOS is version 16.5.1

### 1/5 — Poor

*2023-07-08, version 6.1.0*

The app used to work fine. Since the last update it won’t even open on my phone. I’ve spent a lot of money upgrading all our manikins; now they won’t work, what a waste of money. As the fault is clearly Laedal’s I will be asking for a refund

### 1/5 — Not working correctly

*2023-07-07*

This update has clitches, it is not working properly. Please go back to the way it was

**Developer response:** Hello and thank you for taking the time to give us some feedback on the app. We are currently working on the overall experience and also continuously looking on improving the performances for manikin connection and the reducing the time to start the session or the connection stability. Please don't hesitate to contact the support through https://laerdal.com/support/customer-service/contact-us/ with details about the manikins you are using (model, how many), your setup (protocols, guidelines). Thanks in advance. Also note that a new release (6.1.1) has been made available on 18th July 2023 which should help with the stability during training and improve the result view. You won't have to wait for all manikins to be finished with the session to access the results.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Manikin problem

*2026-06-27, version 8.0.6*

Won’t update module on QCPR manikin even though it recognised it and connected

### 1/5 — 15:2 not supported

*2026-05-16, version 8.0.5*

The app which normally runs very smoothly, refuses to acknowledge any rescue breaths whilst using the new 15:2 protocol. This needs to be fixed asap or the entire setup is rendered obsolete.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2025-10-21, version 8.0.0*

Can’t use app as when ever we open it the screen greys out with a notice about migrating results to newest version and to not shut down as this could take two minutes. We don’t shut down but this happens every time and the greyed out screen won’t go away making the app unusable. Please fix

### 1/5 — Force closes and slow to link

*2024-11-16*

The more and more updates I get, the more I begin to hate these. With the new update it forces close in the middle of a practice session which is embarrassing for this price point.

Would be great if you can name the manikins. Sometimes when I have 12 manikins on and everything is named “little”, it’s hard to find what I want.

With Red Cross curriculum you a lot of practices require 3 rounds of cpr where the manikins can do either 1 min or 2 mins.

With the infant manikins, the babies cry when they feel like it with the auto “cry” off. They also work when you press the button but the cry b4 the button is pressed

Infant manikin feel and body movements are not a natural feel compared to the Prestans

We need to make these manikins link faster. It’s a hassle with large groups

### 1/5 — V7.0.0 - don’t! Just don’t…

*2024-10-29*

Don’t upgrade to v 7.0.0… the scoring algorithm is incorrect! If you have V 6.7.x - keep it!

### 1/5 — Diversity’s

*2024-04-02*

It only connects to the white ones and not the black manikins.

**Developer response:** Hello, thanks for your enquiry.
Yes, after the race you can still see the detailed score by clicking on the racer for which you want to see the details.

### 1/5 — Fantom Little Anne

*2023-09-21, version 6.2.0*

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Incredible.

*2024-11-14*

We use this technology at our uni for our paramedic students, and I also run a private company teaching paediatric first aid.
The app fell apart for a few months where there were so many glitches and I was ready to give 0 stars (in fact I think I left a review on this already!) but it seems to have all been fixed and better than ever.
I was able to run a workshop last night for 30 parents, and with the app every single person could get feedback on their CPR. One parent even said it was like having me there one on one with them the whole time. But it is better than that- we can look exactly where they go wrong, and trouble shoot it! Ie tip the head back, allow for more recoil, or blow less air etc.
I honestly don’t know what the point is in teaching CPR if the participant/student can’t get detailed feedback on how well they are doing, look at how they can improve, and change it again for their next stint. This app is literally life saving, and should honestly be compulsory for all manikins.
So great for our students at uni too- in particular when ventilating and looking at the results from that. So great to use the data in their assessments and provide feedback. Thank you Laerdal for listening to all our feedback regarding the app!

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2019-06-19, version 3.4.11*

Fantastic App and great equipment. I’m using the App with the QCPR Upgrade Kit on a slightly older Little Anne. As an instructor, it’s great to be able to practice and receive feedback on the App, to ensure that I’m demonstrating the techniques correctly to my students. I will be using this App and equipment on my next course and encouraging Learners to download the Learner App.

### 5/5 — Great app for helping learners

*2017-12-14, version 2.2.7*

I have used the app for about a month and it is great to be able to give specific feedback to a learner. It helps identify areas for improvement as well as demonstrating the need to change to a second rescuer as quality of CPR deteriorates.

### 4/5 — QCPR is great, but not working on baby

*2023-03-13*

App works great students love the real-time feed back.
BUT it stopped connecting to baby. The baby appears and says connected but can’t do choking sim any suggestions?

### 4/5 — Needs an Orientation Option

*2022-06-13*

App overall is good. The biggest issue is we A’s instructors use multiple manikins for our classes. I use this app every class. I hook my iPad to a dongle and then to the large TV in my class so my students are able to see their own progress. There REALLY NEEDS TO BE AN UPDATE!! Add an option to change the orientation of the screen, please. So I can set up my TV in a vertical fashion and the tv screen be better populated with the app.
