There was a couple obscure things it couldn’t find that I know are available. However, the one problem I really have with it is the search. Every time you type in an additional letter the search results change. However, even when it finds what you are looking for, if you happen to type one additional letter it will then disappear and be replaced by unrelated things. So it’s easy to miss what you are looking for because it popped up and then popped away so quickly because you didn’t know which letter you’re supposed to stop typing at. That doesn’t really make any sense and I shouldn’t not be able to find something because I typed too much of the title. **Developer response:** Thanks for your feedback! Also, you do have the ability to keep all of your lists / information private. Every list has the option of being public or private. Your Qewd folder - the default one we create for you - is private by default. Would love for you to write us so we can better understand the issues you've had and we can resolve them in future builds. ### 4/5 — Add Writers *2022-07-21* Love what this app is doing. I’d suggest adding Writers to Movies. Cinephiles don’t just explore directors’ filmographies. We also want to see what other Fredric Raphael or Robert Towne movies are streaming (to give two examples). Great to have a reliable source for locating streaming movies/shows. Opening up the credits beyond Actor/Director would be a savvy, useful move. **Developer response:** This is a wonderful suggestion! We agree. We will be adding writers and producers in the very near future. ### 5/5 — BEST APP EVER *2022-07-13* What a great app. There is so much to watch out there, QWED does an amazing job breaking down what is actually most interesting for me to watch. Awesome app!!! ### 5/5 — Time Saver *2022-07-13* Time is money. And I don’t have time to waste thinking about what I want to watch when dinner arrives. With Qewd, I’m able to quickly find something of quality to watch from either my saved lists or recommendations from my friends. It even shows me which of my streaming services it is available on which saves me a ton of time going through each apps subpar ‘recommended lists’. Everybody has algorithms that make recommendations, and so does Qewd. But Qewd also has real recommendations from actual human beings who I know and whose opinions I respect. Sometimes, a friend will tell me I should watch something, but I forget what it is. I can find great shows o watch on all my subscription services as well as free services that I didn't even know existed. It's going to be my ultimate TV companion‌       ‌ ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Do not use this app *2022-12-21* When I read some of the reviews I thought it would be a good thing to get for my movie night but when I try to chose a movie it tried to send me to the app that it was on! So do not use it it’s a waste of time and storage! ### 1/5 — Should not require a phone number to use! *2022-07-30, version 1.0.3* Love the promise of the app, but even when using a Google login it requires a phone number. The app should not need this to function. The developer responded saying this was more secure than a username and password, but this again should not be necessary when authenticating with Google or other services. I’d love to give it a try, but remove the phone requirement first. ### 1/5 — Requires Your Phone Number *2022-07-23* Immediately deleted this app as it requires your phone number. It will not let you use the app without giving the company your telephone number—why? UPDATE: the app developer responded, lying in the process. The developer could have used “Sign in with Apple” login functionality, which would not require our telephone number. Instead they chose not to, saying telephone numbers are the standard way of logging in now, which is deceitful. **Developer response:** We want you to know that your feedback is important to us and we heard you. You can now download and onboard QEWD without having to provide a phone number. Thank you again for your feedback. ### 1/5 — Mobile phone number required. *2022-07-22, version 1.0.2* I have no idea if this is a good or bad app. All I know is they require your mobile phone number to sign in, and I don't give that out to anyone outside my small circle of friends and family. Period. ### 1/5 — Invasive *2022-07-22* What mysterious in-app “update” did you just install on my phone after I downloaded the latest version from the App Store? Why do you need all conceivable personal information (email auth, phone number verification) just to let me see whether your app does what your marketing promises it does? No thanks, deleted immediately. **Developer response:** We want you to know that your feedback is important to us and we heard you. You can now download and onboard QEWD without having to provide a phone number. But other than that it seems good.
