### 4/5 — Close But Unstable In My Case

So much more featured than SW Maps and better laid out. I’m really thrilled to see Bluetooth support and NTRIP, but unfortunately the app (v 4.2.4) has been very unstable for me (random crashes, sometimes within no more that 20s of getting RTK Fixed), to the point that I found it unusable in the field. Fingers crossed they can get these stability issues fixed soon, because it is much nicer than SW Maps. I hope my telemetry helps.

QField continues to get great development and does a great job in moving QGIS projects to mobile (especially with FieldCloud). Now running it with over 40 mobile users on private missing persons searches. Keep up the great work.

App hängt sich bei Projekten auf,d. H. Ich muss die gesamte App Herunterwerfen und neu installieren. Kamera funktioniert nicht.

Even if this is a great App with a lot of useful functions, I miss a real desktop version where I can do everything with my mouse like creating paths and streets much faster as you can find it in the Windows/Linux Version.

Very nice app, elegant UI. Their cloud service works well. With a bit of qgis knowledge the options are huge. I can get the measure feature in imperial units but cannot get the navigation/stakeout feature in anything but metric. If that were easy to get it'd be nearly a home run for me.

I love this app and all the abilities it has unlocked! The only piece missing is the ability to open local files in iOS that could then be synchronized via iCloud. Would love to be able to work on a collaborative farm project with my family members through iCloud. Thank you so much for this amazing app!!!

The app is excellent for data collection in the field. It is very intuitive and feels very much like QGIS.

The only reason I didn’t give the app five stars is the limitation and difficulty of connecting to an external GNSS receiver and accessing its data. I am aware that this limitation is not the fault of the developers but rather of the OS and similar data collection apps face the same issues.

Nonetheless it’s the best app for data collection I’ve come across!

Sehr schöne App. Ist leider noch nicht ganz fehlerfrei aber dennoch bereits sehr gut. 
Wenn der Fehler behoben wird, dass man auch neue Layer/Dateien verpacken und damit der cloud hinzufügen kann, die nicht im cloud Ordner abgelegt wurden sowie die Synchronisation der einzelnen Layer gut funktionieren (bisher lösche ich das gesamte Projekt und lade es neu rein damit alles richtig funktioniert, das kostet Zeit und mobile Daten) gibts gerne die 5 Sterne.

Hay cosas simples que no funcionan como cálculos sencillos en campos. Hay cosas que se construyen en QGIS que luego cuando se pasan a Qfield no funcionan. No hay opción de descarga de tablas

Instructions are confusing.  I have a QGIS project on my laptop that I want to access while in the field.  In QGIS I export the field data into a shape file then no further progress. Unable to access the shape files.  Unable to import or open the shape files as the process to open/access/import is as clear as mud. Appears to require a degree of file transfers and manipulations well beyond my 40 years of using Mac and almost 15 years of iPhone use

**Developer response:** Sorry to hear that! have you installed https://plugins.qgis.org/plugins/qfieldsync/ and looked at https://qfield.cloud/ this is by far the easiest way of moving data from and too your device ... and https://qfield.cloud/ has a very generous free tier!

A whole days work can easily be lost when the data will not push to the cloud. I wish you could save changes to your devices drive too incase the synchronisation doesn’t work. Additionally it can’t use a Bluetooth gps device on iOS.

Für Apple völlig nutzlos, da man keine Dateien aus einem zip Order hochladen kann. Gerade in dieser Form werden Daten vom Landwirtschaftsamt aber zur Verfügung gestellt.

In combination with QGIS you can produce all maps with personalized data you can think off! Best trails to go hiking/biking, nature observations, secret sites only you know, etc. When I'am out in the landscape I use QField more often than GoogleMaps, because QField ist also the best way to visualize Openstreetmap combined with your private data.

Easy to use, fit for purpose. Took a couple of hours to set up, then ready to go. Cloud access not required, as simple to transfer using iTunes.

Very stable and effective. I use it a bit different than I suspect many will. I create historical maps in QGIS, then load the projects onto my phone so that I can go into the field.  Use this app a LOT!
