## What is QingMo?

QingMo is a cross-platform Markdown editor built for a smooth writing flow. Edit on the left, see the rendered result on the right in real time — no more switching back and forth between syntax and output.

Rendering kicks in the moment you stop typing, with millisecond response. Switch freely between source, split, and preview modes. In split mode the editor and preview scroll in sync, so you never lose your place in long documents.

— Navigate Long Documents —
- Minimap: a structural overview on the right edge, color-coded by headings, body, and code. Click or drag to jump — accurate even with soft wrapping.
- Sticky Header: keeps the full heading path of your current position pinned at the top while scrolling; click any level to jump back.
- Two-way Linked Highlight: select text on one side and the matching text on the other is highlighted automatically.

QingMo 1.0.4 - Insert images, toolbar, and touch Select All

New
- Insert image: Writing tools > "Insert image..." picks from Photos or Files, copies into workspace assets, and inserts a relative reference.
- Editor context menu (right-click on desktop; long-press on iPad): Select all, Copy selection, Copy all Markdown, Paste.
- Keyboard symbol bar adds Select all and Copy all Markdown for dense text without hunting a long-press spot.
- Mermaid diagrams in preview get "Copy source"; non-Pro placeholders can copy source too.
- Writing tools can insert a Mermaid flowchart template in one tap.

Improvements
- Save and Edit/Preview sit earlier on the bar for faster reach on iPad; clearer separation from format tools.
- Sidebar offers "Copy path" for local and iCloud workspaces instead of showing a long full path.
- The first unsaved-dot tip explains auto-save about 30s after you pause (disk icon saves immediately).
- Unlocked Pro items show "name - Unlocked"; a tip points to where Pro tools live.
- Long-press on toolbar icons shows a command tip; releasing does not fire the button.

Fixes
- One-tap publishing inlines local images so paste targets no longer drop pictures.
- More reliable iCloud document open; unsaved dot clears after a successful save.
- Tapping to move the caret on iPhone is less likely to open an app menu; iPad external keyboard Cmd+, settings shortcut conflict is resolved.

QingMo 1.0.3 — Select All, Copy & Typewriter fixes

Fixes
• Cmd+A no longer selects the entire app chrome; selection is scoped to the source editor or the preview pane.
• Inside a fenced code block, Cmd+A selects only that code; outside a code block, it selects the current pane’s content (full Markdown source or full preview).
• On iPad without a hardware keyboard: use Writing tools → Select all / Copy all Markdown to copy the full source in one tap.
• In Preview-only mode, Writing tools → Select all selects the preview content (same as Cmd+A).
• Fixed iPhone typewriter mode jumping / fighting the soft keyboard (no longer re-centers on every viewport geometry change).

Improvements
• Each code block in the preview has a Copy code button for one-tap copy to the clipboard.
• Clearer select/copy scope so the toolbar and sidebar are not selected by Select All.
