I had a little hiccup working on this platform. *2026-01-10, version 4.0.1.* It is January 10th 2026. I will only give a my true and honest opinion review after working with the app after a while. As I am just starting out. Truthfully it was a little bumpy at first getting it work correctly and consistently on this platform. Either the developer or someone works for them responded rather quickly to assist. With a little back and forth he was able to get it working. For how long is the question. I will reply back after working with it for some time. The good, The Bad, and the ugly.But for now it is working. I only recently downloaded it and have already learned many words in the two languages i’m learning (finnish & icelandic) And i am seriously considering buying the payed version because this app is MUCH better than duolingo. Так же похоже смена сложности для курса никак не влияет на него, пытался несколько раз сменить, но как будто ничего не изменяется. Заметил что смена темы приводит как будто к полной перезагрузке, хотя в остальных приложения это происходит бесшовно. Looking through approximately 50 apps, I found less than five with the language I needed to know. This was one of them. The others either bombarded me with adds, required money for me to use the majority of the service or just weren’t very effective. This app was the only exception and a great one at that. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — It was good… *2025-06-11, version 2.4.28.* When it comes to the program and learning itself – it’s actually really good. But when it comes to the app’s performance – it’s a disaster. Every few days, you can’t log in for several or even dozens of hours. And now, it’s been two days and it’s still not working… ### 1/5 — Started making you have to pay *2024-06-01* Used to be great ~4stars. Had the language I was looking for which was rare. But now with the new update you can’t do more than 3 very short lessons without paying. Disappointed but I get they wanted money. Update has nothing to do with it. 😉After the user, any user, reaches 60 lessons, he gets 3 lessons for free every day. For most users this is enough. For those who want more are warmly invited to support our project and take one of the subscriptions. The cheapest per month is the yearly subscription. It costs 5 times as much as the monthly subscription. Мы можем все починить ;) Заходите, пожалуйста, и напишите нам ;) ### 1/5 — Doesn’t teach, just hits u with quizzes *2023-01-31* Ive never experienced such a bad language “learning” app. It doesn’t teach you anything, it just gives you random questions you have to solve. So you cant even learn “hi”, you just straight up quiz (they call it games…?). If you’re learning a language- ESPECIALLY, ones with a different alphabet. This is not good at all. They just tried to get as many languages in so people would download. There’s literally no mechanism that makes it teach you vocab. It’s only quizzes and you can’t even slow the pronunciation. I really thought i could use this for korean.. EDITED: Oh, its so you can recognize the sentences? It literally sounds like a robot with its volume is being cranked up and down, you also cant slow down the app pronunciation so I doubt “children “ would be able to hear it properly. I personally would like to have a full understanding of what im learning but okay. Because I’m trying to learn pronunciation, grammar, conjugations, literature, etc. And I’m still confused as to why this would be released when theres no actual teaching mechanism.. If you’re going to make is learn ourselves, you could’ve at LEAST given us a wordbank **Developer response:** Hello Teni ;) Thank you for your review. It really points out some of our shortcomings which we already plan to correct. Please read our complete answer and I hope we can convince you to use the app and then maybe give us a higher rating :) We don't teach alphabet, but we plan to do it in a very near future (probably in Q3 of 2023). Until then users have to find a resource in the internet which will teach them the alphabet. Our method of teaching is like children are learning languages. That means that they hear the words and phrases often enough so they remember them and then with time they can form their own sentences. We offer a hint on every question. If you don't know the answer, use the hint. It doesn't cost anything. If you still don't know the answer, tap on hint again (especially on dictation, writing), because you will get even more help. For every example where you used the hint, you will have to answer it again in the second round where you can use hint again. You don't have to repeat after you know all examples without hints. This system really works. You'll be positively shocked how good. ;) An introduction to the learning material is planned in February and so are flash cards. Both of them will be available before our "quizes" like you call them and I'm sure they will make it simpler for users who are completely new to a language. We haven't added so many languages only for users to buy our app. Our app is very open, more than many other apps and users can test how it works, see what we have etc. before deciding to buy. You don't need a credit card or to start a trial period to test the app. If a user bought the app, we return the money within a month. Retund main menu ### 1/5 — Registration a pain *2020-07-26* I had a hard time registering , got so frustrated I deleted app. You register with app and they send an email to confirm, when you go to login it says you have to register, then it tells you your email is already used so you can’t register to login. Deleted app **Developer response:** Unfortunately our mail server died just on July, 25th when there were the most new users. We helped every user that wrote to us during this time within minutes. The problem is fixed now and if you still have problems, please contact us on support@qlango.com. You can now enter in the app just like you registered on site and everything should be fine. We appologize for the inconveniences. ### 1/5 — No Assistance from QLingo *2020-07-26, version 1.14* I paid for a lifetime membership, registered my account, and received a confirmation email from QLingo. But then, I couldn't sign in. I double checked my User-Name, email address, and password with no success. I then sent at least six requests to reset my password with no response. I even checked the Junk in-box with nothing there. I cannot find a way to contact Support without being signed-in. A CF. Unlike other apps where the review is always the same over and over, Qlango tests your understanding with six different difficulty levels. You are reviewing the same things but in different ways. This is the only app where I learned and kept in my memory the Polish language names of the months. I couldn’t do this with any other app I tried. Well done, Qlango! I’m a believer. ### 5/5 — What I’ve been missing *2026-04-04* This app works like most, following the proven patterns, but this app adds the benefit of being able to ask AI why, which is game changing. Amazingly when others ask questions it shows up, often answering my questions before I know what to ask. ### 5/5 — I love this app! *2025-12-16* This app has many languages, good content, I even have a lifetime account so I don’t have to worry about getting charged all the time. I’m able to dip my toes into different languages easily and get a feel for what I like and don’t like so I can prioritize what I’m learning. The app is separated into subjects and has SRS built in. There’s audio, pictures, and a variety of exercise types. 100% would recommend. ### 5/5 — Zatial good *2025-11-14, version 3.0.13.* Učím sa zatial 2 dni kvôli tomu lebo mám záujem íst na strednu Poľskú Technickú Školu, cena za učenie keď si chcem robiť viac lekcí je celkom lacná (5,99€) a zatial pár viet som sa už naučil ako napríklad “Jak se pan miewa?” Atď. Dám update keby sa mi kvôli tejto apke aj podarilo isť do Poľska študovať, alebo by som sa naučil rozprávať Poľski. ### 5/5 — Initial review *2025-07-20, version 3.0.1.* I have just started using the to learn Macedonian and so far this has been the best (and most affordable) app I have found on the App Store. £7.99 for a month seems very reasonable compared to other alternatives. So far, the lessons have been good and addictive. They have done a good job at gamifying learning a language. Currently there are only basic vocabulary lessons available for Macedonian which is fine for me as I am still learning. However, I hope they will add more advanced lessons. I will provide an update to this review once I have used it for a longer period of time. ### 5/5 — New Favorite!! *2025-07-08* I have lifetimes on at least three and you know two of the top names but this one has me more engaged.
