However, as soon as I try to sign up the app doesn’t let me go past the email and password, it says: “Error the network connection was lost” but my internet is on and fine and then I still get a confirmation email with a code I can’t use. I cannot start driving without this app and I do not know what to do. I’ve deleted it and reinstalled it, I’ve looked to see if it needs to be updated, and I’ve asked my parents and google but nothing works. I would like to see if you could fix this or if it’s just me. -kind regards ### 2/5 — My issues with the app *2025-08-02, version 4.1.22* Hello, I understand the full concept of the app and how it should run in the background while switched off. However, I’ve come into issues with the app completely resetting while i’m logging a trip. I have come into this issue time after time and I know well that the time logged compared to the actual time I am supposed to have logged are not the same. The app will continue to close while off and away despite the fact that nothing else is running. Fix this issue, perhaps saving the time to cloud before the app resets? ### 3/5 — Good Visuals but loses drives *2025-05-29, version 4.1.22* App is easy to use however you can start a timed drive and then put your phone away only to go to end the drive and find the app has gone back to the start screen and not recorded the drive. What the? ### 1/5 — Complaint *2025-04-25, version 4.1.1* It kicked me out after an update and saying my email is wrong now. ### 1/5 — DONT GET THE APP *2025-04-08, version 4.0.1* I was so close to getting 100 hours, then for some reason the app glitched and half my hours just disappeared, I called their online support and talked to three different people, not a single one of them were helpful and the last lady (I’m talking about you Vickie) talked down to me the whole time like I was some baby who didn’t understand English. I’ve added multiple vehicles and supervisors and they persist on the Vehicles and Supervisors pages, but they don’t display on the summary page ( 0 Supervisors & 0 Vehicles). I’ve tried adding multiple trips but nothing happens after I click [Add Trip]. Nothing is displayed on any of the summary pages (Total Hours, Day Hours, Night Hours). ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Terrible app *2026-03-12, version 4.1.29* This app has so many flaws, sometimes trips don’t show up in emails, sometimes when you submit a trip it will disappear and won’t show in emails or in the “not approved trips” section and you are unable to put in trips and get them approved. It can be slow and i run into errors all the time if you are a learner i highly recommend getting just the paper log book this app is just terrible and will waste your time. ### 1/5 — can’t log in *2026-02-10, version 4.1.29* I have completed half of my hours and now the app tells me to check my email address was the one I registered with when I try to access the app. The email address is correct. How do I get in to the app to continue logging my driving hours? ### 1/5 — Huge problem with the app *2025-09-11, version 4.1.22* During a trip it will often refresh the app in the background and the trip will not save, meaning that you have to estimate the amount of kilometres at the start of the trip and when you started the trip. Complete bogus for an app made by our government, the people who literally run the country. ### 1/5 — Terrible logging in hours *2025-08-29, version 4.1.22* This app is terrible for logging in hours, once finished with the hours it automatically doesn’t count as a trip, it will act like it never happened it’s literally so stupid and it’s slow ### 1/5 — Timer *2025-07-16, version 4.1.22* It’s happened to me many times. I’ll put the kilometres in and start the timer, place my phone in centre console and drive to my destination, once I have reached my destination I’ll grab my phone to end the trip and I’ll go into the app and the timer disappears and it doesn’t count towards my hours as it just completely shuts the app and acts as if I’ve just opened the app ### 1/5 — Not registering trips *2025-07-13, version 4.1.22* For some reason the app shuts down and won’t register the trips. It’s happened multiple times the latest tonight where I’ve driven for an hour and nothing to show. AK ### 5/5 — Hours not approving *2020-06-23* This app is indeed handy, however 8 trips of mine are not approved. I have watched my guardians submit the same trip over and over, yet still no approval. Fix this Edit - Thank you very much, this indeed brought my hours back. Edit: Glad all is resolved and we appreciate the update to your review. ### 5/5 — Awesome app *2019-11-03* This app is so handy because most days when people get their license they would obviously have a phone, with the app you don’t need a paper copy. The logbook as it can be downloaded through the app. You can also access your records n different devices all you have to do is log in with the same email and password you used originally. The app is one. The best decisions made yet. The best part is that you don’t have to calculate the amount of hours you have driven because the app keeps track of how many hours and how many minutes of driving lessons that you have done **Developer response:** Hi Bryden. Underneath and number of hours I have (59), in small print it says “credited driving trainer hours, 20 hours”...are those 20 driving trainer hours separate from the 59 hours recorded above...or are they included in that 59 hours? AK. ### 4/5 — Pause option *2026-01-18, version 4.1.29* I go on lots of trips and it’s frustrating that there is no option to pause a trip when I’m just getting out of the car for a minute to fill up fuel or something 🙁 ### 4/5 — Overall pretty good *2023-02-04, version 2.30* Works pretty well and does what it’s supposed to. Only issue I’ve had is for short trips under 1km you can’t properly log as it wouldn’t let me save without changing the odometers value. If it had an option to just pause a trip that would be great ### 4/5 — Needs trip comment feature *2022-05-07* This app is pretty useful, it does its job pretty well. However, I must ask, please add a trip comments feature for when you are uploading a trip. Its sometimes quite annoying not being able to mention that you were driving through traffic or you were simply driving around in an area rather than being just limited to a starting and ending point. Have a great week :-) RW ### 4/5 — Pause Mode on trips *2021-07-18* The logbook app is pretty good and easy to use than writing it down, but one big recommendation that the app should have is a pause mode so if you in a trip you can just pause it if you just at a fuel station filling up for example, otherwise you have to finish the trip and start a new one again which takes time and gets annoying especially if you only been out for two minutes.
