Qld Rego Check is the free and official Queensland Government (Department of Transport and Main Roads) mobile app that lets you check the registration status of cars, trucks, vessels, trailers and motorcycles. Simply enter the Queensland registration number or vehicle identification number (VIN) to see the registration status and other unique details about the vehicle (e.g. description, purpose of use, and registration / certificate of inspection expiry date). It no longer can find my registration or vin number, so kinda pointless now. Nothing has changed, and I recently received my rego renewal via QLD TMR so I know it’s still in the system. **Developer response:** Hi there. Please accept our apologies for the delayed reply. Thanks, ET, ### 3/5 — Great APP needs to include stolen vehicles *2026-03-29* This is a great APP, I set reminders for my personal vehicles and stay on stop of my vehicle Registrations. Also helps with my fleet data and so I can identify make model and VIN’s of the vehicles I manage at work. One great improvement and really needed, is the ability to identify vehicles reported Stolen. The QPS can’t do this alone & there are times where stolen vehicles are scouring the streets to break into houses, with the only information available from Face Book groups. This would benefit the community greatly by being able to identify stolen cars and the community members could report immediately to Police, via a phone number provided in that part of the app. You want to win the battle of youth crime, this is a joint effort, between Community, State Govt and the frontline policing services. **Developer response:** Hi. AK ### 3/5 — Roller back kms *2024-08-24* They should had a feature like the nsw service app where you can check if the kms of a car has been rolled back. If an update comes out searches fail immediately and there is no notification that the reason no results were found is because you are not on the latest version. I’ve had this app for few years now and suddenly it always results to “No results found” for every enquiry I made. **Developer response:** Hello there. Thanks, LW ### 3/5 — To much money *2023-08-30* App is good for checking registrations but only gives you 1 option for payment credit card, a surcharge applies to payments. I did have some issues when the app would come back “no results found” but that was my mistake. I had mobile data turned off.
