Checked in and it said 5 minute wait. It’s been 35 mins. This happens EVERY time. ### 2/5 — Needs notification settings *2025-09-26, version 1.18.3* Works as advertised pretty well, but desperately needs a setting that allows you to change when you get notified so instead of dinging you every time you move up in line, you can change it to for example when you’re the 10th person line or fifth person in line it notifies you ### 3/5 — Less can be confusing *2025-07-23, version 1.18.3* I arrived just as my text alerted me that it was time. I still waited 45”. However, every single staff member at the Concord Plaza location treated each and every patron with a smile, a hello, performed professionally and efficiently. I visited the Maplewood Deer Park location earlier in the afternoon And after being told by the male employee that I was next, 6 other patrons were called ahead of me. I questioned the female employee who summarily dismissed me. I wanted an explanation as the QLess system is very confusing regarding trying to pick the service you need - nothing for transferring plates. The Maplewood Deer. Creek employees treated each patron with disdain and as an inconvenience. It was disheartening and gives these offices the bad reputation that they are known for. Do better Belle Hart Schmidt, LLC. ### 2/5 — No way to cancel appointment in app *2024-09-27, version 1.18.3* This is such a good idea but some important things are missing. This works perfectly if you never need to reschedule or cancel. I need multiple appts with city planning dept, and I need to be able to go into the app to cancel a meeting if there has been a delay in getting the documents needed for that meeting. I even tried texting “C” to cancel all my meetings so I could start over, but that did nothing. Basically, this app (and the fact that the Planning Dept. does not answer telephone calls) forces users who need to cancel to be the jerk that just doesn’t show up. It would be so simple to add the option “cancel appointment.” That would make this perfect. ### 2/5 — Poor app/office integration *2024-09-13, version 1.18.3* The app can't find the office that I actually am standing in. I can sign in while standing in the office, but when I use the app to use the already in line feature, it does nothing. I've signed in the office, got the text message, confirming I'm in line, but the app won't tell me anything about it. The concept of the app also also deceives anybody who comes by the office because you can't see how long the line is. And you are not told until you've been waiting a while. It deceives people and encourages people to wait when they should give up and come back later. ### 4/5 — Web site *2024-09-03, version 1.18.3* The web site would not allow me to add time. Because I had used his phone number on my app in the past, there was no possible way for me to join a line. Even though I was at the DMV, I had to wait 3 hours because I couldn’t check in. There was no way to change the number to mine, as every time I tried it just said “you’re already in line with a different number” which wasn’t true. On wifi on my network with full service. There won’t be anyone in queue and I’ll have to try 3-5 times to have it process and by that time it finally accepts my request there is 5+ people in line. There isn’t a way to save “favorites” or “frequent” places not a way to save profile settings to not have to repeatedly enter them. They claim it’s less time in line, but it doesn’t deliver. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2024-01-27, version 1.18.2* I signed up to get in a line but I doesn’t let you check your place in line. So you basically sit there all day not knowing if you’ve been called or if you even made it on the list. ### 1/5 — Horrible Process *2023-11-30, version 1.18.2* I came in yesterday to the Blue Springs License office. Signed in with the kiosk and waited over an hour. The attendant couldn’t tell me where I was in line or how long of a wait I had. I came back today using the app and the app was telling me I was first in line and a 1 minute wait for 30 minutes. The attendant couldn’t tell me how long I have. She could only say they call names in blocks and I could be in the next block. I come expecting to wait, but there should be a way for people to at least know where they are in line. I’m sure that would be better for the people waiting and also the people working there. ### 1/5 — It is supposed to do one only one thing, and fails *2023-11-16, version 1.18.2* I do not remember when I wrote last review for the app, but since it doesn’t do one thing it is supposed to, and I am waiting in line after 4 attempts to enqueue via this app. 3 times app frizz, and one time it worked out, but now I am here and sitting in line and receiving unrelated text messages from qless. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — App doesn’t work till 9:00. *2026-07-09, version 1.18.3* The app is really good, but it’s a shame it doesn’t work till 9:00 am when the license office opens. QLess makes it so easy to lock in a time for all the services I need. Awesome! ### 5/5 — Lab Doing Away w/ QLess *2025-12-12, version 1.18.3* My UCLA Lab where I go to do blood draws have been same that they will no longer be supporting this app after the New Year 2026. I heavily rely on QLess because I’m visually impaired. The sign-in touch pad that these labs use are not user friendly and their color schemes are too light. I prefer white font on black background, just like QLess uses.
