A good app for everything in one place but the UI is not very modern and not something I would expect from a Russell Group university. It can be improved significantly. With many phones now with NFC and the drive to GreenMary it would make sense to utilise that feature as an ID card. On an iOS device the ID card can be added to the wallet thus reducing plastic use and eventual waste. So many students lose their ID cards and would be a positive step forward.

Hi

I am currently doing my PhD at this university which makes it 7 years that I've been here and I have been the course rep in the past two years.
I believe this app is a perfect idea but the unnecessary security make it inconvenient to use, things like the fact that you have to enter the username and password every single time that yow want to use each part of the app and if you use a different part you have to reenter the username and password again to go back, I understand how this is a security concern but even the applications to the bank account aren't like that.
If I could only enter my username and password or the library barcode for the first time and the app would just ask me for a short 4 digit code to access and would keep all the other information It would have been certainly a very useful app, but until then I find it very inconvenient to use and I don't think It will be a useful app to suggest to my friends at the moment.
However I have to include that the app looks very professional and a good user interface.
I also tried to upload this as an idea and feedback but the app gives an error 

I would really appreciate it if in any way I could be informed if you are concerning my idea.

-Timetable never works 
-QMPlus directing you to website 
_Map is rubbish

Only good thing is library service that's why 2 star otherwise WASTE OF APP STORE.

I downloaded this app, very excited to see that my university has an app. Unfortunately once in it it proved to be slow and with information that was rather useless. I gave it two stars as the PC availability is a very good feature

Bad stuff:
-Using dodgy browser which is inferior to safari for email/qm plus 

-integrated qm plus/email would be nice including all features

The idea behind it is good, but the way it was executed is shambolic. When I open the app I just see a white page... Useless! Also, all it does in a nutshell is take you to the respective websites in a dodgy browser... How useful(!) don't bother downloading it.

But it turns out to be useless. Some pages take ages to download. The design needs to be improved. The only feature I like is print credit.

It is a great idea.

However it seems to me to just be a slow web browser? It's exactly as if I'm in Safari, just not as quick?

Also I download a lot of PDFs to my ipad from QMPlus. The app doesn't allow me to do this so I have to continue to use my browser.

Good idea though. Just needs a lot of improving.

Just throw a bunch of nonsense together and make everything available through the web version without any regard for the UX. Internationals are paying 25k/year for this

I’ve been using this app for over a year now and this is one of the apps where I truly wanted to rip my hair out. 

First things first, when you load up the app, you are greeted to sign in with your university account. However, the signing in functionality doesn’t work half the time and most likely freezes and hangs requiring you to put in your username and password again. They have disabled pasting in your username and password making it a chore to manually type in. 2 Factor authentication is always required for every log in and they do not support authentication codes instead of phone numbers. If something happens to my phone number I am screwed as I cannot log in. 

For some reason it is the policy of Microsoft or the university to automatically log you out after a specific period of time whether or not you were using the app regularly. As you guessed I have done this process of logging in and using 2 factor authentication codes so many times I’m starting to go insane. 

As for the apps UI, it is dated and poor for todays standards. It is just a glorified web browser where clicking on tiles just redirects you to a webpage instead of just showing it in the app. The tiles are genuinely not helpful and lacking in features where it would be easier to go and use dedicated apps. 

The app always requires an internet connection to function. I only use this app to check my timetable and I cannot do that on the underground because it requires an internet connection. This app does not have any caching function. Tied with the brilliant logging you out randomly and I have to have my phone on me at all times just to check my timetable… 

This app is very poor and unfortunately I am forced to use inferior software like this.

Doesn’t seem to be working anymore. It just keeps asking me to log in, but then nothing happens.

Really good app has everything you would need all on one page!!.... But I also don't agree with the name it should be called either QM or QMUL other then that it's great

Little rough around the edges, but definitely
a massive time saver for any QMUL student. Although the icon should be the crown. Or at very least 'QMUL'. Jeez.

Has a lot of potential but not quite there yet. QMPlus Log in is a very variable experience - methodology seems to change randomly. Most issues relate to limitations of QMPlus functionality which are brought over to the app but not intuitive, eg found out by chance how to change landing page. Some pages not set up properly for viewing on phone. Having said that it is not bad and there is a lot of info in there - just that it’s difficult to find.
