## What is Qopa?

Qopa is an app for a couple's shared finances. Shared money and personal money sit side by side, every movement knows whose it is, and the totals add themselves up.

A shared budget breaks down over bookkeeping, not over money: one pays by card, the other in cash, and part of the spending is shared. A month later nobody remembers who put in what, or why there is less in the account than it felt like. Qopa keeps that record for you.

WHAT'S INSIDE
• Shared money and personal money in one place
• See who put in what
• Any currencies, with your own rates
• Monobank import for spending
• A plan and a six-month forecast
• Cash, banks, crypto, investments, debts

PRIVACY
The key is derived from your password on the device, the data is encrypted there too, and only ciphertext ever reaches the server. The developer cannot read your accounts or your amounts. No ads, no data selling.

WHO IT'S FOR
For a couple who keep a shared budget and still have money of their own. And for one person who wants an honest record without the cloud and without ads.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.8.0 — 2026-08-22

The app now fits the way you keep money. At first setup — or any time in «More → Modules» — choose solo or the two of you, and which sections you actually need.

Plans, limits, debts, investments, several currencies, Monobank import — turn on only what you use. What's off hides from the tabs and the home screen, and the data stays: change your mind and one switch brings it back.
Solo mode drops everything about «two»: no shared tabs, no «who put in what» — just a personal budget.

Fixed the small things we found along the way.

### 1.7.0 — 2026-08-21

Category limits. Set a ceiling on groceries or dining out, and the bar shows how much of it has gone. The mark on the bar is how much should have gone by today: if the bar is past it, you are spending faster than the month is passing.

A limit is not a plan: it adds nothing to the forecast and counts only what has actually been spent.
At the foot of the tab, the totals: how much of all your ceilings has gone, and how much is still free.
A ceiling can cover shared spending, personal spending, or both together.

The expense list now has a row of categories: one tap and only dining out is left on screen.

Fixed the small things we found along the way.

### 1.6.0 — 2026-08-18

«What is coming for me?» — the main screen answers that now. An «Ahead» block shows the three nearest dates with a countdown: «doctor», «loan», «wedding anniversary». All of it was already written down; it just lived on three different tabs.

A planned expense can now repeat every three months or once a year — insurance, an annual subscription, an anniversary. Until now each occurrence had to be entered as a separate one-off.
Holidays and birthdays get a list of their own: plan them a year ahead so that none of them catches you out.
A new one is picked from a list: birthday, anniversary, Christmas, New Year, name day. The name and the date fill themselves in.

How often an expense repeats now shows in the row itself — «↻ monthly» — next to a coloured dot for whose account it comes from.

Beside the balance there is a «today» ring: what the day has cost so far, and how that compares with an ordinary day this month.

Fixed the small things we found along the way.

### 1.5.1 — 2026-08-17

Want a look before you invent a password? The first screen now offers «Try it with demo data»: an invented safe that lives in memory and leaves with the app.

Wondering what we can see? There is a step for that now: your bank token, your figures, our server — and why none of it reads without your password.
A forecast no longer pretends to be a fact: figures that came from the plan wear «≈».
A transfer is not spending. Now it says so: a move between your own accounts.
Where did this row come from? «auto» — the statement wrote it; «on this phone» — your phone worked it out.
Forgot the password and never made a phrase? The safe can now be erased and started over right from the unlock screen.

### 1.4 — 2026-08-15

Exchange rates now come with an arrow: which way they went, and by how much. And yes, bitcoin and ether have arrived — the safe learned to look past the hryvnia.

A new «Rates» report: a daily chart, with a currency and a period to pick. The history only started accruing now, so it is short — that is its age, not a fault.
An investment card finally leads with what matters: what it earns over its term, and at what rate. The account, the scope and the dates moved under «Details» so the numbers stop drowning.
A new investment assumes the principal comes back: a deposit, a loan at interest, a bond — that is the usual case.
Notifications that arrived while the app was closed no longer go missing from the log. And the number on the icon finally clears when you open the app, instead of piling up for weeks.
Tapping a debt reminder takes you to that debt, with the row flashed so you need not hunt for it.
Re-filing a bank entry as a transfer no longer muddles the currency: you pick the account from the usual list, and if the currencies differ we ask for the figure the bank never sent.
Your figures hide the moment the app leaves the screen — a frame earlier this time, so nothing flashes into view.
