It will take much less time to type them myself. ### 1/5 — Does not sync *2023-03-16* I really want to like this app, but it doe snot sync accross devices. That really drags down the usability. ### 1/5 — Can’t attach picture from library *2021-09-22, version 4.1* When I want to save quote from a screenshot: - it doesn’t scan the text - I still have to type the quote myself - and then only the quote is saved WITHOUT the screenshot that was supposedly attached. So it’s useless to me. ### 2/5 — Can’t back up or access from iPad *2023-01-30, version 5.1* In principle the ability t scan, OCR, and file quotes is extremely useful. Maybe I’m missing something but what I scan on ne device does not appear on the other. And even though I’ve connected the app with Dropbox I can’t back up. ### 3/5 — Syncing Across Devices *2024-10-10* This is a cool app, but the bummer is that it does not sync across iOS devices. If it did, it would be a reallly great app. Not being able to see the quotes I might have captured on my phone, on my laptop is a little bit of a letdown. ### 3/5 — Just one thing missing *2023-02-12* If only this app synchronized via the cloud across iPhone and iPad! Taking the photo with the phone is much more efficient, but using the quotes so mich better on iPad. I’d pay more for the app if it synced! **Developer response:** Thank you for using QOTD and for the feedback. To clear up any misunderstanding, QOTD does not automatically sync between devices. You can manually back up your data on Dropbox from one device by accessing the settings screen and tapping the "Back Up Now" button. To sync your data to other devices, you can launch the app on those devices and access the settings screen and tap the "Restore Now" button. Thank you once again. ### 4/5 — Wish there was a widget *2024-02-24* The way I use this is by putting inspiration/education affirmations in one place. I don’t really like the that it uses notifications to show me my quotes, but I would love a widget that I can put on my Home Screen and have it shift through my quotes like every hour. And if I could choose the colors of that widget would be perfect ### 4/5 — Great so far, only one request for development! *2023-05-05, version 5.1* So far I’m really enjoying this app and I think it will be so helpful as I love reading and collecting quotes but haven’t had a systematic way to do that - before now! I’d love to be able to change the image design so I can use it for my business’ social media. Lovely clean interface, intuitive, OCR works beautifully. It was the only app I could find that would give me reminders of quotes that I personally had collected, as opposed to being peppered with random pretty-sounding one-liners from the internet. My only feature requests would be the ability to add emphasis to the quotes (italics, bold), and the option to choose how many quote notifications you get in a day.
