最新のiOSに対応できない古い機材に使うには、丁度いいですよ。
当方も、機材を更新した時に、旧型のiPadの処遇には困りましたが、丁寧にアプリを構築して運用をすれば使えます。
その際に、このアプリがQRコードを読み込ませるアプリとして「軽く」・「素早く」反応してくれるので、助かっています。
最新のiOSだと、カメラ機能でQRコードを入力できるので、無理して入れるアプリではないですが、旧型のiPad使いにはマストアイテムだと思います。

This app is the bomb. I work in a vending industry with massage chairs and this app has proven to be invaluable by helping me sniff out bad or obsolete QR codes. Even before that this app helped me "cheat" on a particular QR-based Arcade game. Definitely a must have if you play Dragon Quest Scan Battlers or if your work involves checking the validity of the QR codes on your vending machines.
