Deberian actualizar toda la interfaz, botones mas modernos y las tablas mas fluidas con mas color y visualizaciones futuristas. ### 4/5 — Feature request : Night photo lightning trigger support . *2026-06-01* I’ve been having a lot of fun experimenting with GoPro Labs on my HERO11. The amount of functionality hidden inside Labs is honestly impressive, and it’s opened up creative possibilities I never expected from a GoPro. The QR-code workflow took a little getting used to, but once I started experimenting, I found myself spending hours testing different features. One feature I’d love to see added or expanded is support for Night Photo mode with motion/lightning-style triggering. As a lightning photographer, my dream setup would be the ability for GoPro Labs to monitor for a lightning flash and then automatically capture a Night Photo long exposure when the trigger event occurs. Currently, motion detection and triggering work in some modes, but Night Photo doesn’t seem to fully support this type of workflow. Being able to combine the intelligence of Labs triggers with long-exposure Night Photo settings would create a unique tool for lightning, fireworks, and other transient nighttime events. Overall, GoPro Labs is one of the coolest pieces of experimental software I’ve used on a camera, and I appreciate the work the development team puts into it. Thanks for continuing to push the platform in creative directions. **Developer response:** This is a question for Labs forum as this is not an app feature, but a camera feature. Please ask on the forum. ### 2/5 — Not optimised for the GoPro Max 2 *2025-12-22, version 2.1.1* I’m sure this works well for other GoPros but it’s frustrating that I have the latest GoPro Max 2 and can’t find the settings relevant for it. The website allows me to set Camera mode to 360, but the app doesn’t. ### 4/5 — Great App! We use the GPS speed control, and zoom manually. But the zoom defaults to 0 after the first video. Thanks in advance. **Developer response:** You can set the zoom via the QR Code fX where is the amount of zoom from 0-99. In the app add f50 or f90 etc., to the Added Command line. Also the App has the FOV option for Narrow which is a shortcut to f99. I hope this helps. ### 4/5 — Feature request *2022-01-14* Just started using this app. Maximum shutter is fantastic. The features that I'd like to see are rearranging presets (I made some in the wrong order. OCD is bugging me). GoAmateur, formerly known as GoPro won’t tell us why they stripped the pro tune feature from their app and then fed us this steaming pile! That’s right. They want us to control our $500 action cameras with freaking QR codes. We paid for our devices working as they were. This what I would expect from a banggood action camera the GUI looks like a middle school project. GoAmateur won’t even put their logo on it. What the heck is going on? In response to the developers fallacious response. He is the senior software engineer at GoPro. The software is being sold under the brand GoPro labs, and publicly endorsed by GoPro. Fix the old app. Now. **Developer response:** This App is independently created, yes by a GoPro developer, but not on behalf of GoPro, I just wanted an app for QR Codes and did this on my time. It is not being "sold" or branded by GoPro, although they are welcome to take it on. Your review is not addressing the purpose of this App, launched 6 months before GoPro Protune changes. The "old app" you mention is not in my control, but this one is. I’ve been using this app professionally for about 3 years now and it has worked flawlessly! Seriously impressive work, especially keeping up with all the suggested functions. I downloaded this, and tried the !FRESET command. In spite of it being labeled for 10-12 use only, it worked like a charm. ### 5/5 — Missing Performance Camera Mide *2024-04-03, version 2.0.0* My Hero 11 Black has the latest GoPro Labs firmware (Mar 2024). I want to shoot video in 4k 4:3 at 30 fps. To get this setting, the camera must be in Performance Mode. Video mode will not work. This app does not have that setting and will not generate the applicable QR code. You have to use GoPros Lab website to get the correct code. There are plenty of great features, especially in the metadata section, that allow you to do much more with the camera. With that said, I would love to see an option to format the SD card with a QR code as I frequently find myself doing it manually.
