Like an idiot, I filled in my bank information. I can’t believe I did that but it still would not let me continue to create my one time QR code for my church bulletin board. Next thing I knew, I received a bank fraud alert for guess how much: $39.99. I appreciate your contacting me, and I believe that you do care about your company reputation. There probably isn't any. I suspect you responded to a banner ad at the bottom of the screen. Ads are displayed by Google's algorithm, based on contracts with advertisers. The developer provides a portion of the app screen as an ad space, but has no knowledge of the content of the ad. It's the user's responsibility to respond to these ads. Please check where the payment was made and take action against the site. Most ads in free apps work in a similar manner, so be careful when responding to ads. ### 1/5 — Not free at all!!!!!!! *2025-08-11* Crooked. Therefore, there is no payment or charge at all. It seems that you paid for the banner advertisement at the bottom of your app. Banner advertisement is displayed according to the logic of the advertising company, so we do not know what advertisement is displayed in the app and have no relationship with it. It is the responsibility of the app user to be interested in the advertisement and to view or pay for it.
