I don’t have a laptop or Ethernet cable so my options were to do it wirelessly or via the app. It did not work on my iPhone 11 after several failed attempts at discovering the network. I downloaded the app onto my iPad mini thanks to personal hotspot, and it actually worked and I got the wifi network set up within 3 minutes. It was pretty easy and flawless once the app worked. Be persistent with it and make sure your settings are allowing the app to connect to the local network. I would still like to see Dlink make this app more user friendly, and be able to use it for more like managing the network and connections etc. ### 4/5 — Worked for me *2021-07-19* I had no problems using the app to set up the wi-fi range extender (DAP-1530).
