When naming a new tally (you have to name it) you must wait after the first letter for the keyboard to close & re-open, and after saving it, the app sometimes crashes. This app would be great if it fixed these issues and added a way to customize the layout of the tally counters (currently only left-to-right, up-to-down and 3x4 on each page). ### 3/5 — Disappoints *2026-02-01, version 4.0* I want to love this app but it scrambles my items. I sort them, organize by category (color) and price so I can work quickly to keep track and it scrambles them daily. Super annoying and time consuming to have to jump from screen to screen to keep tabs. I took so much time to do too. Please fix ### 3/5 — Pretty Good but Could be Better *2026-01-11, version 4.0* I have been using this app for a while and I really do not have any major issues with it. The only two that come to mind are that I cant reorder the groups and whenever I try to assign a color to a tally the app crashes 95% of the time. Also you guys should thing about adding the feature to swipe between tallies instead of having to go in and out of one and into another (at least in the same grouping). Finally can you add a features that lets each tally reset it is goal at an assigned interval? (Weekly, monthly so on). ### 2/5 — Annoying bug that needs to be fixed *2025-09-20, version 4.0* Frequently, I open the app to see that many of the tallies I have created have reset to zero or switched order. It takes 5-10 minutes to manually re-enter the tally values and reorganize their order. This shouldn’t be an issue. ### 2/5 — Decimals *2025-09-08, version 4.0* Why would not allow decimals? Incremental increases of decimals? That’s what we need!! ### 2/5 — Rearranges Everything.. *2025-07-26, version 4.0* I use this app everyday but I like my lists/categories to be in order. Whenever I create a new category, it gets rearranged to a random spot within the list of existing categories. Furthermore, when I EDIT a category and add a new item to tally it then gets rearranged as well into a random order that I do not wish to happen. To combat this I have had to remake each category as a whole (some of them with 20 items) in order to keep things in their correct order. Stinks that I paid for the upgrade to this app and it can’t handle basics. I do still plan to use this app as I have for years now BUT I finally wish to give feedback in an effort to be heard from devs. Thanks! ### 3/5 — Needs improvement *2025-04-02, version 4.0* It seems fine if you just have one goal. If you want to measure multiple goals, use a different app as it thinks any other categories are to be subtracted from the “main” goal as if they are negative. Also, no way to make notes or track 0.5 vs 1. It is ok if you screenshot your tallies each day before it auto-erases, but it won’t keep records or track for you so you need a spreadsheet or some other manual way to track yourself. If so, app isn’t that helpful then, other than perhaps being a quick tool throughout the day to help count. Debated 2 vs 3 stars because it has been helpful, but I am about to abandon this app for something more suitable for my needs. ### 2/5 — Group function is terrible *2025-03-12, version 4.0* I’m experiencing several issues with the app: •I can’t delete or rename groups, nor can I drag them up or down. •Holding to adjust the amount I can add doesn’t work. •Double-tapping on the tally color causes the app to crash and close. The only standout features are the auto-adjust goal function and possibly the graphs, but group organization is crucial. Without it, I can’t seriously invest my time in this. At the very least, implementing any of these three features would make a big difference: 1.Edit/rename groups 2.Delete groups 3.Drag groups I hope these issues get fixed soon because this app has a lot of potential. ### 4/5 — Watch removal *2025-02-03, version 4.0* The only reason I bought this app is because it synced to my watch. I never updated it and I still lost it. I also primarily used it on my Apple Watch, which was also removed without warning. Suffice it to say, I’ve been forced to look elsewhere since Qtally is now useless for me. I hope the developer can at least fix the issues introduced from the recent update so that app can become useable again. ### 1/5 — Bring back watch support! *2024-10-28, version 4.0* To reiterate what other recent reviewers have mentioned, the latest update that removes watch functionality caught me off guard and is incredibly disappointing. I’ve been using this app daily for nearly two years without any issues. However, the removal of watch capability renders the app useless for me because watch functionality was my primary use and the very reason I bought the app. Unless watch support is restored, I’ll have to find an alternative. It used to reflect counts immediately, but now you have to back out to for it to update/refresh. Also, I'm not sure it's actually showing the right count (for example, I added 7 and 6 today but my count shows 18 and I'm not sure where that additional 5 came from because it started at 0). ### 5/5 — Great app, use it daily *2026-05-17, version 4.0* Used for health symptoms to monitor changes over a long period of time ### 5/5 — Useful, versatile and well designed *2025-04-17, version 4.0* I might be a bit of a nerd but I’m using this app to mark my wins and losses on an online Backgammon app. Useful history record which tells me I’m playing too much Backgammon and need to get out more. Seriously though, this is a well crafted app that works well and I’m glad I stumbled upon it. Other tally apps can’t hold a light to this one. Mình sẽ mua nếu tiện ích hoàn thiện ### 5/5 — New update causes app to crash (sometimes) *2024-11-01* I use this app daily because it's so usedul, so I'm a little disappointed that the first update in years has caused a new issue with it. If you add multiple points at once instead of tapping each individual count, it does add the new count but the app also crashes (though I don't seem to have as much of an issue if I'm connected to wifi).
