### 3/5 — Very annoyed

*2026-07-20, version 3.0*

I love this type of game, and the daily quad is great. However I am not happy with some of the additional games. I have paid for the app, but I can’t now play the word guess game because the game screen is cut short and the ‘enter’ button is not there! I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the app, but the problem is still there. Also, the grouping puzzle uses the same groups of 4 over several different puzzles, which to me is a cop out. I feel that I have wasted my money.

### 2/5 — Now with incessant ads

*2026-06-10, version 2.7*

Used to be my go to word game. It is not adverts populated by the odd game. Moving on to find a new app.

### 5/5 — Brain power

*2026-03-16, version 2.0*

I love this and other word game and use them to keep my brain sharp after retiring from a demanding job.

### 1/5 — Bad change

*2026-03-16, version 2.0*

They changed everything and made the font and buttons smaller

### 5/5 — Thank you!

*2026-03-16, version 2.0*

Thank you for listening to us - you made a bear perfect game already. Only improvements needed were 1. No internet connection needed & maybe difficulty level choices. Best game I've ever found in an app.

### 1/5 — It wasn’t broke!

*2026-03-15, version 2.0*

I don’t like the update. I can’t see the whole board anymore without scrolling, the enter & delete buttons are in opposite positions now & I don’t see an option to change that, & I don’t see a way to share my results without revealing the answers. It wasn’t broken so why did you “fix” it?

### 5/5 — THANK YOU

*2026-03-15, version 2.0*

Thank you for reverting the changes!!!!

### 5/5 — Thank you

*2026-03-15, version 2.0*

They made changes we didn’t like and they listened and fixed it. Much appreciated, love sharing this game with friends

### 5/5 — The game is back

*2026-03-15, version 2.0*

Image my surprise when you changed the layout of the game early this week. I am so glad they you returned it to the old way. It is so much easier to see.

### 5/5 — Thank you for seeing sense!

*2026-03-15, version 2.0*

Why do these companies have to change the colours on the games! This was my review a few days ago…but thankfully they have seen sense and reverted back to the old style. Hurrah!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Unacceptable

*2026-06-16, version 2.7*

I understand that adverts before being able to play the game are a necessary part of keeping games free. However, the type of adverts you are showing are deceitful. The latest adverts are saying issues need to be dealt with urgently and one even had an alarm noise. I know they are only adverts but they are intended to scare and this is wrong. I have deleted the app.

### 1/5 — Impossible with Ads, Don’t Bother

*2026-06-09, version 2.7*

I love this game and have played it long before it was in this current format.

However, I am now getting an ad upon app startup that literally does not have an option to get past, even after interacting with the ad entirely. This app is literally a brick that only exists to advertise stock trading apps apparently.

My disappointment is immeasurable. Deleting the app now.

### 1/5 — Love the game, but-

*2026-05-26, version 2.5*

Update: I tried it a few more times to see if the ad popping up during play continued, and not only does it still do that the ads steal audio focus if you are listening to something else. So, no longer using the app, that is way too irritating to be worth it.

I understand the need to monetize an app, and I also understand that this is someone’s hard work so I can play a game. But, having ads pop up in the middle of a game so you might accidentally click on them is not cool. Make me look at one before the game, or have it pop up after the game, but surprising me in the middle is a little obnoxious.

### 1/5 — I already paid once

*2026-05-17, version 2.5*

WTF didn’t we’re already pay like $5 for the unlimited play years ago?

### 1/5 — Adverts!!?

*2026-05-12, version 2.5*

Unplayable Now.

I have now regrettably stopped playing this game. Adverts are not acceptable, constant intrusion makes the game unplayable. Interrupts the thought process! Really disappointed that it’s come to this as my review below stated I, like others, was very happy to have the original back. But not with adverts and what’s with wanting personal data to play a game? No thank you. A great shame as this was a pleasure to play but not any more. Huge disappointment.

### 1/5 — Advertising

*2026-05-09, version 2.5*

Been playing the game daily upon recommendation however, consigned to bin as gone down the route of adverts, popping up every few minutes, breaking concentration whilst working out a word, tolerated for one day but no more!

### 1/5 — Notifications Required?!?!?!

*2026-05-05, version 2.1*

I went into quordle today and they make me go through this intro to something I’ve been playing for years. Then the last screen asks me to allow notifications, and there is no button for NO!! So I swipe up to leave the app and go back in…… and there it is again! There’s no way to get into the game without saying YES to notifications! Well, you just lost a customer.

### 1/5 — I won't be doing Quordle

*2026-05-05, version 2.1*

Shouldn't have to allow notifications!!!!!

### 1/5 — Update

*2026-03-20, version 2.0*

Don’t like the chages,.

### 1/5 — David

*2026-03-18, version 2.0*

Hated the upgrade and so glad it’s changed back

### 5/5 — Quordle lover!!

*2026-05-04, version 2.1*

Having to solve for 4 words is much more satisfying and fun than the original Wordle. More strategy

### 5/5 — I love quordle

*2026-03-30, version 2.0*

Endless play with no intrusive ads, what a rare and wonderful thing. Definitely one of my favorite apps.

### 5/5 — What a great game!

*2026-03-19, version 2.0*

Thank you for fixing the fix.

It’s a virtually perfect game!

### 5/5 — Original

*2026-03-17, version 2.0*

Thank you for going back to the original 8 guesses. Thought I would give up when you change the format. With ten chances the letters were too small for my 80 year old eyes.

### 5/5 — Morning brain wake

*2026-03-17, version 2.0*

Great challenge , gets the brain alive early morning

### 5/5 — Great fun

*2026-03-17, version 2.0*

Share your achievements with friends and family. Bite size brain wake up every morning. Live it. Never too easy

### 5/5 — Glad to see Quordle return to its previous User Interface

*2026-03-17, version 2.0*

3 days of limbo have been resolved!

### 5/5 — Fun word puzzle

*2026-03-16, version 2.0*

Good way to build a vocabulary. Some good strategy to get all words within the allowed tries.
