You can turn off auto-renewal in your Apple Store account’s settings. Interactive map is ok, but I wish it was more like an actual GPS and would follow my location live. Instead, it refreshes my location once in a while and it’s hard to follow. Some areas have trail numbers which we can follow but without that, your better off following a paper map.

I have the paid version of the app. Whenever I try to zoom in to read the surrounding locations and street names the font keeps shrinking even smaller no matter what I do. It make it next to impossible to read!!! So frustrating on a mobile device!!

The base map options are fair at best. How about Topographical options ??  Trails have no explanations or information other than basic difficulty. This app is as basic as it gets.
