IMPORTANT
QuakeAlert notifies you about earthquakes ALREADY DETECTED by official seismic networks. It is not an early-warning system and does not predict earthquakes. In an emergency, always follow local civil defence.

COUNTRY BORDERS AND NAMES
The globe now has a borders layer with country names in your language. Turn it on with the button just above the magnitude legend, alongside tectonic plates — and your choice is remembered next time you open the app. Zoom in and more countries appear, always legible and never overlapping.

NEWS AS A TIMELINE
Reports about an earthquake now tell the story in order: the latest update is highlighted at the top, and each entry says what changed — when the USGS raises the alert, revises the magnitude, or publishes a new toll. The main text now always shows the most recent version instead of the one written in the event's first minute.

EARTH'S INTERIOR
The crust, mantle and core simulation has moved out of the globe tab and into Settings › Learn, where it is easier to find and read at your own pace. The globe tab is now dedicated to monitoring.

FIXES
• A story you have already read no longer reappears as unread.
• The "View event" button works again on every article.
