### 5/5 — Excellent coverage

Very pleased. Has all the right information I am looking for

### 5/5 — Exceptional Quake Alerts

*2026-08-22, version 7.0.1*

### 2/5 — Names in App Arbitrarily in region’s Native Language

*2026-08-22, version 7.0.1*

Why? I can’t read Farsi, Mandarin, OR Russian so why have the names and landmarks in those languages? Is this a global app? Why are the names on the African Continent mostly in English yet Ukraine is indistinguishable unless you are Carmen Sandiego. If I wanted a roadmap I’d use Waze for naming accuracy. Also, the quake alerts locations instantly translate to English AFTER the fact. Not helpful or nice

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2026-08-22, version 7.0.1*

While getting alerts can be jarring during the day, it is incredibly useful to see patterns especially when you live in the ring of fire. App is easy to use, great insightful info

### 5/5 — One of my Favorite Apps

*2026-08-21, version 7.0.1*

I have been using the QuakeFeed app for over 10 years and the annual fee is nominal. I refer to the app several times a day and I particularly enjoy when they feature the “dad jokes” in the app. And their customer service is exceptional. They really care about their product and the satisfaction of their users.

### 5/5 — Phenomenal App

*2026-08-21, version 7.0.1*

Download and subscribed to the premium version. I will always have this on my phone. It is definitely worthwhile. Thank you for such a great app!

### 5/5 — Best Quake Updates

*2026-08-19, version 7.0.1*

As a CA Professional Geologist, I think this is the best quake alert app out there. Data is extremely fast, it separates the background quakes from the big ones efficiently. Been using this app for more than 5 years.

### 5/5 — Very helpful

*2026-08-19, version 7.0.1*

I live in earthquake country and QuakeFeed is the app I use.

### 5/5 — QuakeFeed

*2026-08-19, version 7.0.1*

I originally downloaded this app since I sailed offshore in the Pacific and South China seas. Being aware of earthquakes, their magnitude and location allowed me some measure of time to react before any tsunami arrived. Now, I’m in Southern California, my sailing days are over. However we have plenty of tremors here. Family and friends are scattered along the west coast, San Diego to Vancouver, BC. A very active earthquake zone. The amount of information provided within this app is astounding. I highly recommend this app.

### 5/5 — QuakeFeed

*2026-08-19, version 7.0.1*

Excellent App

### 5/5 — Good info

*2026-08-19, version 7.0*

I’ve been using for years and it just keeps getting better. The paid subscription is loaded with bonus content. Worth the price of annual subscription. Thanks for providing such a good app!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Subscription no longer works

*2026-08-13, version 6.6.9*

I have received 2 alerts for quakes in California which were below the notification threshold I set for regional quakes.

Why spend money to have preferences when the app is so broken it apparently doesn’t even use those preferences?

### 1/5 — App

*2026-07-10, version 6.6.9*

None

### 1/5 — The feed, the site nothing

*2026-07-09, version 6.6.9*

It never shows me anything on my feed, it used to but not since yall changed something

### 1/5 — Promotional notifications can’t be disabled

*2026-07-06, version 6.6.9*

Update to dev response of raising money for earthquake victims:

That’s great! Keep up the good work! … still would love a toggle to disable promotional notifications tho.

You’ve got users that rely on this app for emergency, potentially life saving warnings. Users that live in those earthquake prone areas. Wildfire areas. And every time they see a notification from this app, their heart starts racing.

And every time it’s a promotion and not an early warning notification, they’re that much less likely to pay attention to the next notification.

Do u guys not realize you’re diminishing the effectiveness of your app for people like that? All because, what? You’d rather not give your users the ability to disable promotional notifications? Because your donations would be less? Because less people would know about the promotional offer to your subscription service?

### 1/5 — Inaccurate data

*2026-07-02, version 6.6.9*

We just experienced a 5.6 earthquake and they recorded it as 2.0 in Wilits California. After posting this, I heard from the developer of the app who suggested I checked my filters. Thank you so much for the suggestion and it definitely changed things. I will continue to use this app as it’s been very helpful.

### 1/5 — Notification Abuse

*2026-07-01, version 6.6.9*

You just abused your quake notification privilege with an advert asking for money. Fail.

### 1/5 — Promotional notifications can’t be disabled

*2026-07-01, version 6.6.9*

I’ve subscribed to premium for the wildfire feed. But it seems inconsistent. It’s currently showing zero wildfires up to a thousand miles. Not only is this unlikely but it’s also factually in actuate when checked against other wildfire watch sources. Their filters don’t seem to affect it at all.

I would not recommend this app if you have concerns with fire safety.

### 1/5 — Spam

*2026-07-01, version 6.6.9*

This app sends spam requesting donations. Liked it until then.

### 1/5 — QuakeFeed

*2026-06-30, version 6.6.9*

It was to scary for me as a kid

### 1/5 — Inaccurate data

*2026-06-24, version 6.6.9*

We just experienced a 5.6 earthquake and they recorded it as 2.0 in Wilits California

### 5/5 — Such an awesome app

*2026-08-26, version 7.0.2*

I’ve been hooked on this app for a number of years and have the subscription. I like having immediate information about earthquakes and fires around my area in the PNW. I also have family in SoCal and Southern Philippines. Getting early alerts about those areas helps me get in touch with love ones early. Another awesome feature of the app is the world map. It’s fast and the aerial map has great resolution, much better than Google Earth with similar flexible navigation. Thanks for the great app.

### 5/5 — Incredible App

### 5/5 — QuakeFeed

*2026-08-24, version 7.0.2*

This app is very timely with its notifications. It runs about 2 minutes after the quake. Living in the middle of on the ring of fire

### 5/5 — Reliable

*2026-08-24, version 7.0.2*

I love this app! In conjunction with my home seismometer, QuakeFeed lets me be aware of earthquakes in near real time. QuakeFeed sends me a notice of a global or regional event, I then can go to the seismometer in my home, waiting from a few seconds to a few minutes depending on the events location to observe the “P”and “S” waves arrive at my seismometer here in Colorado.
