## What is Quanto Basta?

Quanto Basta helps you keep an eye on what you eat with a points system that is simple, fast and entirely on your device.

Every food is worth a number of points; you get a daily allowance calculated from your profile, plus a weekly bonus that absorbs the treats. No weighing everything, no complicated math: log it and move on.

• Personal daily allowance, calculated from sex, age, height, weight and activity level.
• Weekly 49-point bonus that absorbs individual days going over.
• Catalog of 1025 foods across 12 categories, with search, favorites and recents.
• Points from the label: enter protein, carbs, fat and fiber and get the points for your portion.
• My foods: save what you work out from a label as your own food, with a name and a category, and reuse it with one tap.
• Calendar history and statistics with charts, heatmap and trends.
• Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, plus a Control Center control for logging on the spot.
• Siri and Shortcuts: add a food by voice.
• Meal reminders and a weekly recap, if you want them.
• Streaks and badges to keep you consistent.
• Data export as CSV and JSON: it's your data, take it with you.
• Optimized for iPhone and iPad.

100% offline: no server, no ads, no trackers, no analytics. Your data stays on your device and you sign in with Sign in with Apple. You can delete your account and all data at any time, right in the app.

Quanto Basta is a wellness tool for informational purposes, is not a medical device and is not a substitute for professional advice.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.3 — 2026-09-17

Ready for iOS 27.

Scan the label. In "Calculate from label" you can now take a photo of the nutrition table: protein, carbs, fat and fiber fill in by themselves, you check them and then save. The photo is read on your device and is neither saved nor sent anywhere. Requires iOS 27 and a device with Apple Intelligence; everywhere else, entering the values by hand works as before.

Extra-large widgets. On iOS 27, "Daily points" and "Quick add" also come in the 4×6 size: ring, bonus, streak and the week's trend at a glance, or a grid of your recent and favorite foods.

Siri. On iOS 27 you can ask "Today's points in Quanto Basta" to hear how many points you've used and how many are left, without opening the app.

On iOS 26 the app stays just as it was. Email donbreda4@gmail.com with bugs and suggestions.

### 1.2 — 2026-07-24

My foods.

Working out points from a label now saves a real food item: give it a name and a category and from then on you'll find it in search, favorites and statistics like any other. Manage them in Profile > "My foods": edit or delete them, and entries already in your diary stay readable with the points they were logged with.

Revised catalog: 1025 foods, with many ready-made and composite dishes added, duplicates removed and quantities and units made consistent. Existing diaries don't change: totals, bonus and streaks stay exactly as they were.

Brand-new icon, redesigned for the Liquid Glass look of iOS 26, with light, dark and tinted variants — and the same mark greets you on the sign-in screen.

Plus smaller fixes and polish. Email donbreda4@gmail.com with bugs and suggestions.
