I do however wish I could turn the brightness down. Even with my iPhone 8+ turned all the way down, the clock display is still pretty bright. We LOVE a pitch dark room at night. The only thing I would request is that the app icon would display the actual time, not "12:53". No matter where we are sleeping, this app allows me to sleep until 7:30am, which is the earliest my little guy is allowed to get out of bed. The clock is easy to read from anywhere in the room. You can display the time with a colored background so that it can double as a nightlight, or if you don't need additional light you can have a black background. Why not put the iPhone to use with the face of an LED/LCD clock while it charges at night on the nightstand?! AND HAS A NON-IRRITATING ALARM?!! Well that's just what this app does. Terrific! *2015-06-16, version 2.6.1* I was dumb enough to look around for a digi clock I can see at night without my glasses. Nothing was big enough to see across the room AND stay lit all night. Then it occurred to me that I have one. My iPhone, it just needed your app. It's perfect, stays lit all night (I have on the charger at night), big enough numbers. Should have thought about an app in the first place. Only one flaw, though minor, it counts down the bad news until the alarm sounds. I can live with that flaw! Great app. Keeping it simple is a great rule by which to design. It lasts about 15 seconds and then shuts off on its own. You thought that would be a good idea for waking someone up, huh? Yeah, really smart design... An alarm that automatically snoozes and then shuts off for good... Moving on, there are only 4 alarm sound samples to choose from... They are bizarre choices of sounds... They are terrible lo-fi quality... Anyone could have spent spent an hour in audacity and done a better job than these people. They didn't even bother to attempt to loop them correctly. Until now I have enjoyed using this app as a bedside clock at night. If I woke in the night I was able to see the time without having to fumble with the screen. And I only have to turn my head to my right. I noticed one review had issues with brightness of screen. There are two choices to mimic QuartzClock LED or LCD. screen. (Yes more levels would be nice update ) Just for functionality of phone, all the apps and internet at my fingers ANY TIME I WANT IT. It has a full-screen display with a very simple alarm. And it's easy to change the colours to suit day or night and various lighting. The one thing I wish for is seconds to show in the normal display. The only way I've managed to see seconds is when counting down to an alarm. The double tap to switch between 12 and 24-hour mode is clever. I don’t use the alarm function, although I did try it out.
