Developers, it sure would be nice to have a Firefox or Safari extension. ### 3/5 — Causes iPad to Lock Up *2024-05-14, version 3.0.5* The app usually works great when it’s on the screen otherwise it’ll cause my iPad to lock up. Some settings won’t apply until I disconnect and reconnect. The software here is SO much better than the competition. I wish they could make the UI a little bit nicer and prettier but the sheer amount of options is what we’re here for. I wish FiiO and Qudelix could get together for a collab. FiiO makes the hardware and Qudelix the software. It would be amazing. Oh well! Thanks Qudelix. The app works like a charm! It provides you with more functionality and options than you would ever need. I don’t feel qualified to comment about all the features, but so far, I have been an extremely happy customer as this device/app has helped me bring my £1000 pair of in-ear monitors to life thanks to the excellent sound quality of this DAC/amp and software combo and precise EQ which has allowed me to fine-tune my IEM to my liking. Also, you get regular app and firmware updates which is another great plus. I swear every week there’s a handy feature I find that I hadn’t seen before. For some reason the EQ just doesn’t sound right. I tend to keep the EQ off as it sounds better no matter what I try. Once that didn’t work I did the same with the troubleshooting instructions. Would not recognize my headphones or earbuds. I downloaded the qudilex app and from the beginning this has absolutely been a nightmare trying to get the app to recognize the device. At first the app recognized the 5k with no issues. Then the app kept disconnecting from the 5k at random. I initially only had to turn the 5k off and on for the app to reconnect but after several attempts it stopped reconnecting. I did everything that the app suggested. I removed all Bluetooth devices from my settings, reinstalled the app, restarted the phone and the app still will not recognize the 5k Device. I still got the sound, but at a near whispered volume. All of this within 6 hours of using it. The reason I purchased this device is because of the feature rich aspects of the app but the underlying connectivity is completely useless. I have to uninstall it several times. I have to reinstall it several times I have to continue to remove all recognized Bluetooth devices from my phone settings. I have to continuously restart my phone. I should not have to jump through so many hoops just to have the app do what it is supposed to do. It's absolutely ridiculous to have to do all of this. I'm running the latest iOS on my iPhone 13 Pro Max. There's no reason for this to happen. For my budget, This is an expensive piece of equipment, $110 to purchase this and then a brand new update (3.0.0) and it still will not recognize the 5k device. This is absolutely infuriating. ### 1/5 — I am willing to change it to a 5 star if you guys update the autoeq *2024-02-27, version 3.0.0* The sole reason I bought it was to use the autoeq for my airpods max and it has an outdated list that doesn't include all the latest presets for them (I checked the sources git). App fails to recognize the connected device multiple times which neuters the functionality you get with the app. Even pressing “connect” within the app does nothing. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work with FW2.0 cheers Qudelix! *2022-12-31, version 1.18.1* Bought new 5K amp/DAC and having problems using device with iPhone 13 mini, raised a support ticket to be told that the device won’t run with this level of app and to use desktop Chrome extension app, that works when out on the go doesn’t it??? The 5K also playing up with buttons not working correctly etc. not sure how long wait for update will take??? Let’s see… today is 30/12/2022 how long will I have a NG device? ### 2/5 — Needs work *2026-02-22, version 3.1.7* The device is great, the app needs work. The UI was clearly created by engineers, with no information designer involved. Try figuring out how to set a preset for your PEQ for each headphone. Good luck!
