Then, the update required a login (no big deal) but it doesn’t work. Every time you enter an email address to receive the login link, it says ‘login failed’ and there is no way to watch the live stream. Won’t be watching it anymore! ### 1/5 — The new ad display interferes with reading the news *2021-08-30, version 41.4.0* I’ve been a big fan of the app, checking news throughout the day, but since Fox46 changed the way the ads display, the ads prevent you from scrolling, require scrolling a few times and make it very difficult to not only read the news, but to get to the end of the story. I’ve been so frustrated that I just simply close the app and look on other local news apps. You cannot get to the end of a story without scrolling and rescrolling, which sometimes causes you to click the ad. I understand ads bring revenue, but at least make them user friendly. I will try to look at the Fox 46 news a couple of times over the next week and if it’s the same, then I will delete the app and get my news elsewhere. My phone is an iPhone 11 Pro Max and it’s only a year old and updated.
