Until now. Level 381 has an error in the design—two queens in the same row. ### 2/5 — Ads play constantly *2026-02-20* The game itself is fine and fun, and I understand that games like this put ads in between levels. But this game plays ads during the game itself. There is no second where an ad is not playing - video and sound, which can’t be muted (you can watch the mute button on the ad switch off after one second). It makes the experience painful and infuriating. ### 2/5 — Don’t like the changes *2025-12-31* Not happy with the the new colors, smaller screen and framing of the colors. It is too hard to see and place marks. I wish there was an option to go back the way it was. ### 2/5 — Latest update scoring bug *2025-12-29* I agree with others who dislike the cosmetic changes (and the paltry avatar options that I’m forced to use), but I was living with all that. The bigger problem for me is that the game is incorrectly calculating my points for leaderboard. All queens quest points are counting as regular game points, and my streak in queens quest isn’t increasing. ### 2/5 — Update from 13 hours ago *2025-12-28* Even with music turned off in settings I’m still getting music. This one small thing ruins my game play. I play while listening to audiobooks, and I can’t do that if the music is playing. I already deal with ads not having the option to mute- that was ok-ish because I would just pause the book during the short ad. But not being able to turn off music means I just won’t play this game anymore, which is a shame because I played this a lot. — saw this updated again so gave it another shot and it’s even worse. No more clean white grid lines. The whole grid is very messy and busy looking now. I don’t know who they think is playing their game, but it’s not a bunch of preschoolers, and this looks like a preschooler colored it now. ### 2/5 — New update didn’t take much into consideration. *2025-12-25* They just updated the appearance of the game and the boxes are now smaller and harder to hit the correct one. The color pallet options have also all changed and now no matter which one you choose there is at least one color that is light enough to make the x’s difficult to see. When I first got into queens I loved this app in particular because of ease of use. I’m at level 700 now, but with this update it’s hard to keep going. It’s not terrible but definitely harder for people with bigger fingers and vision struggles. ### 2/5 — Put it back *2025-12-23, version 0.11.0* Put the board back to the original squares. I’m on level 100 and have played the same puzzle at least 8 times! There’s been a few times that there’s no way to place a queen without guessing. Doesn’t mean I want to sit through the same ad 5 times in a 10 minute period while just trying to have a game on my tablet to fill idle time here & there. Had the game downloaded for about 20 minutes, 5 of which was watching the same ad 5 times. Ruined what would’ve been an otherwise fun timewaster. ### 3/5 — Music Keeps Stopping *2025-09-20* The game seems great so far, but the music and other sounds keep stopping like 5-10 seconds after I open the game. I try muting and unmuting the sounds but it won't turn on. I can't play in total silence. What I find ridiculous is that you have to be invited to the VIP levels and then have to pay in order to be able to mark off squares that can’t be queens. And what’s even more annoying is that the buttons are so ridiculously sensitive that despite not pressing hard at all, the game will mark as if you were trying to place a queen when you weren’t. There are other identical games out there where these issues are not the case… Can someone PLEASE make this app less laggy? It’s ridiculous. You still have to watch the stupid adds when you have paid for the app as it’s so laggy, you end up double clicking on the wrong square all the time because it seems like the first click didn’t take. ### 1/5 — Last update *2026-01-20, version 0.11.2* Total and thoroughly ruined the game. When reopened it is not on the same game or reopens a random new game. What happened to my ad-free purchase? Don’t give them a penny, they’ll just “update the app” and make your money disappear. ### 1/5 — Update removed points and previous selections *2025-11-19* The move to the “League” and “VIP” functionality removed all of my points and also removed selections I had “bought” with previously acquired points. This is a big disappointment. I was 1147 games into this and lost everything unless I am willing to pay for VIP. This update has ruined my experience with the game. ### 1/5 — Game is Stuck *2025-09-19* I am stuck on level 269. I have finished it correctly, but the game won’t allow me to move on. No matter how many times I watch an ad, the game won’t allow me to move on. I completely finished level 269, and it is perfect, but the game is stuck. I paid for no ads, so I don’t want to delete and reinstall. This is my favorite game, so I am very disappointed that I can’t play it anymore. ### 1/5 — Broken *2025-09-16, version 0.8.1* I was on queens quest, and there was an L shape with a queen in an impossible spot, so I had to place the queens where they were touching it which went against the game rules. It also wouldn’t let me place x’s in some spots. Great Replayability! *2026-01-06* I honestly thought this would be a five minute and ditch random game. Over a month later, man was I wrong! Unique, ever evolving strategy that your brain gets better and better at. This makes the dun compound daily. It absolutely gets a strong recommend from me! I wish I knew the total amount of daily players to give a better idea of how well I’m actually doing on the daily leader board. ### 5/5 — 😊 *2025-12-08, version 0.10.1* Love the tutorial ### 5/5 — Much better than queens master *2025-07-21* There is a lot of good about this one. 1) tutorials explain most advanced logic. 2) no unskippable forced ads. 3) extra challenges that are optional Here is a tip. Nishio is a well known trick where you can place something in your head and hope you find a contradiction or solve the puzzle. Master levels often seem to need it. But if there are only two places left, and you still have your guess you can try reverse Nishio. If one choice lets you place a bunch and the other choice gets you stuck again, guess the one that gets you stuck. If you are right you can do it again, picking the next choice that doesn’t help you much, and if you are wrong, well you just solved a lot more of the puzzle. ### 4/5 — Addictive game *2025-11-28* Just like with other games, there are pros and cons. I’ve played hundreds of level on my iPhone. Now,I’m trying it on my iPad. But each level has a certain number of “moves”. This prohibits x-ing out squares on even the most basic levels. Why? Literally unusable on the iPad. Still be playing on my phone. But it’s a wild choice to add “move” limits… ### 3/5 — Excellent game is two MAJOR flaws *2026-04-30* First, there is no way to contact the developer (or I would have done that first.) The kicker for me is no way to cancel a game and start over (that I could see). The game plays well and the hints are fabulous. In one game, I totally messed up. You have a limited number of moves, so I couldn’t just undo some spaces. There is a trash button. I figured that would quit the game and let me start over. It left the crowns, but cleared every “X” and didn’t give me any more moves. My only choice was to watch about 15 videos which give you 5 moves each. I wasn’t willing to do that, so I just deleted the game. I’m searching for a new one. It’s too bad, As I said, besides that, it’s very well done. ### 3/5 — Broken? *2026-04-14* Fun game! A bit Zen and a bit thoughtful. But the latest update suddenly has stopped awarding trophies for Queen ‘s Quest levels. ☹️ Unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be any support through the app, the store, or the website. No feedback and no reporting system. So there’s no way to report a problem except through a review. ### 3/5 — Please fix the easy stuff *2026-03-31* This started out really fun. I don’t even mind the adds. I use this to relax before bed. However, I do the daily puzzle and get the reward (little present box), but there is nothing ever rewarded. The box is always empty. I was going to spend the money in the game since I liked it so much, but the free stuff doesn’t even show up, so why would I pay for nothing. ### 3/5 — Love/hate *2026-01-06, version 0.11.2* I lived this game until you messed with the board graphics. The colors and outline are very distracting.
