## What is Questly?

Questly is the game tracker built around your taste, not what’s trending. Track your backlog, achievements, playtime and wishlist in one place. Find your next game without the noise.

SWIPE TO DISCOVER
A focused stack of picks chosen for you. Swipe Interested or Not interested and it gets sharper the more you play, rate and track. No trending noise, no FOMO.

BRING YOUR WHOLE LIBRARY
Sync from Steam, Xbox, PlayStation, RetroAchievements and GOG, or add games manually, from retro to modern. Playtime and achievements come pre-filled from day one. DLC and expansions are included too, so you can see what you own and what you’re missing. Own it physically? Log the edition, condition and where you found it.

MANAGE YOUR BACKLOG
Mark what you’re Playing Now and line up what’s next. Every game shows its time to beat, so you know what fits your free weekend and what’s a month-long commitment.

TRACK EVERYTHING YOU’VE PLAYED
Your Journal is your personal gaming record. Every rating, review and replay logged, with your calendar linking back to it so you can see what you played and when. Watch your taste evolve and never forget the games that shaped you.

EVERY UNLOCK IN ONE PLACE
Achievements and trophies from every account, counted together. See your running total, your latest unlocks, how rare each one is and the games closest to 100 percent. Take on achievement challenges and climb the leaderboards for each platform to see how you stack up.

LISTS WORTH SHARING
Top 10s, themed picks, deep cuts nobody asked for but everyone needs. Rank them, tier them or skip the order entirely. Every list exports as a clean shareable image in one tap.

A COMMUNITY BUILT AROUND TASTE
Honest reviews from real players. Follow people whose taste matches yours, share lists and guides, post polls and let the community settle the debates. One clean feed for the games and players you care about.

KNOW YOUR GAME INSIDE OUT
Community ratings, time to beat, trailers and live Twitch streams on one page. See your achievements across every platform, track prices across every store and get notified the moment something on your wishlist drops.

YOUR PROFILE, YOUR STORY
Your lists, stats and journal in one place. Unlock cosmetic rewards the more you quest.

Built independently by two lifelong gamers. No investors. No agenda.
No ads. No AI. We don’t sell your data or track you across the web, and we never will.
Questly is supported by players who join the Guild, not advertisers.

### 5/5 — Great concept!

*2026-10-09*

Some of the aspects of this app need work, like the UI, but the functions are there and it nails what it’s going for. I’m a big fan of the ideas presented and hopefully it gains more traction! I recommend this

### 2/5 — interesting concept but nothing like letterboxd…

*2026-09-18*

I gave this app a try because I love Letterboxd and the dev was constantly on my fyp marketing it as the gaming equivalent. After trying it, I genuinely have no idea why. Swiping through game recommendations is nothing like Letterboxd. Where’s the personal diary, the reviews, the community around people’s taste? It didn’t look much like it in the videos either, but I wanted to give it a chance. Sue me, I’m an optimist.

**Developer response:** Hi, thanks for giving Questly a try.

A few things worth pointing out, since it sounds like the core of the app was missed here. The swipe deck is for discovery, matching you to games based on your taste. What you're asking about lives in your Profile tab: your full play history, ratings and reviews, all in one place.

On the community side, you can build and publish unique lists, get suggested people to follow based on how closely their taste matches yours, and see their activity in real time on the Timeline. That's core to Questly, not an afterthought.

We built a tutorial specifically to walk new users through all of this. If you skipped it, you'd have missed most of what makes Questly work, worth going back in and giving it a proper look.

We genuinely appreciate the feedback and would love to turn this into a positive experience, feel free to reach out if you need a hand getting started.

### 5/5 — Great way to avoid socials

*2026-09-01*

This keeps me off of insta and more focused on hobbies at actually enjoy rather than rotting my brain.

### 2/5 — Bugs

*2026-08-25*

When adding a game to “wanted”, the app adds it to “disliked”.

**Developer response:** Hey Jim!

Thanks for flagging this one. When a game had previously been disliked on the swipe deck and was then added to the wishlist, it wasn't removing the dislike correctly. We've fixed this in our latest update that just went live so if you grab the update, wishlisting should be working as expected. You can also press and hold on any game in your disliked list to move it across to your wishlist directly.

If you spot anything else, there's a bug reporting option in Settings that goes straight to us. We genuinely appreciate the feedback, it helps us make the app better & we would appreciate if you updated your review rating! Being new to the app store, positive reviews go a long way!

Thanks, James

### 1.1.9 — 2026-09-09

PLAYSTATION
Import your PlayStation games, playtime & trophies alongside Steam, Xbox and RetroAchievements.

ACHIEVEMENTS
A new Achievements page, reachable from your library. See your total unlocks across every account you have connected, what you unlocked most recently, and the games you are closest to finishing at 100 percent. Each provider gets its own leaderboard, ranked on the score that provider actually uses: gamerscore for Xbox, points for RetroAchievements, trophy points for PlayStation, and raw unlocks for Steam.

A BETTER DECK
The recommendation engine has been rebuilt. Top Picks no longer serves you games you have already swiped past, lanes keep going instead of dead-ending on "you're all caught up", and the deck reaches much further into the catalogue rather than circling the same well-known games. Your Steam and Xbox playtime now counts towards what you get shown.

DLC AND EXPANSIONS
Game pages now have a DLC lane, and the play journal has a DLC pane showing what exists for a game, what you already own, and which platform or store it came from. The series and editions lanes can be expanded now too.

A GUIDED TOUR
The tutorial has been rebuilt. Eight short chapters point at the real thing on screen rather than describing it, and you can replay any of them from Settings.

HELP AND SETTINGS
The in-app FAQ goes from 7 answers to 24, covering imports, quests and rewards, spoilers, notifications and private accounts.
