Only downside is that videos play from where you left off, which makes it annoying to shuffle through playlist, and that I haven’t found a way to have one song in multiple at a time. It’s made the app unusable to me. Deleting app until this problem is solved **Developer response:** This usually happens on some websites where a pre-roll video ad plays before the main content (this is part of the website’s own playback rules). Our tool may sometimes detect the ad video and show the save/playlist toolbar during the ad, which can be confusing. Please wait until the main video (actual content) starts playing, and then use the toolbar to add it to your playlist ### 1/5 — Very glitching app!👎🏻🤮All the positive reviews look fake and likely posted by the developers them *2026-01-28* I have been using this app for over a year, and it feels like the developers treat users as free testers. There are a huge number of bugs, they constantly ask to report them, but over all this time none of the critical issues have been fixed. The replies are typical template messages like “we’re sorry, this is not the experience we would like to provide, most likely the issue is on your side.” At the same time, they completely ignore the fact that competing browsers do not have such problems, while here they are consistently reproducible on all devices. It is especially difficult to use the app when watching YouTube: playback speed is not saved, sound may disappear, settings are reset, and you constantly have to dig through menus and manually fix things. Watching videos normally is simply impossible. Such a large number of bugs also raises doubts about the stated privacy claims. If even basic functions work unstably, how much can you trust the statements about data protection is a big question. Updates are released regularly, but old problems are not fixed, and new ones keep appearing. In the end, it feels like code quality and real stability are not a priority at all. I am stopping using this browser and switching to an alternative from competitors. I no longer want to use this app and do not recommend it to others — it is better to avoid it altogether. But most importantly, the main advertised ad-blocking functionality does not work. Ads are displayed in this browser on any website. Thanks for your patience! ### 1/5 — Terrible *2025-11-12, version 1.2.9* This is probably the worst browser application that I’ve ever used. It had the distinct advantage of being able to play YouTube videos in the background while the browser itself is minimized on your phone. But you gotta get to the YouTube site first. Every button that I press from back on the browser to the menus within each individual site, or completely unresponsive and slow. This is only true on this browser. Everything else on my iPhone works perfectly fine. Junk. ### 1/5 — Complete shady scam *2024-09-30* “Privacy first” but all usage analytics are sent to the developer by default. This company is also using a shady UK forefront while they are actually Chinese. But even if you do agree to help us improve, Quetta will not send any data about you or your device and your browsing, only anonymized usage counts of some certain features to help us improve important features. It’s made the app unusable to me. As per the response from the developers, I tried waiting for the actual content to play before downloading, but alas, still saves as an advertisement. However, i greatly appreciate how responsive and helpful the developers are, and increased my rating because of that. Thanks, and hopefully I’ll be able to use Quetta again soon. It’s only showing me like the share or open a new tab. I would like to see a shortcut button for the downloads or add to playlist. **Developer response:** Thanks for the love and feedback. I read some reports of inconsistency. But overall, my experience has been good. Seems to really keep the privacy in-check, very flexible and convenient with the add-ons, and it also doesn't try to resist my password managers like the other browsers. Quetta has become my go-to browser now.
