This is a beautifully designed podcast with no bloat. The only thing I miss is being able to sort episodes oldest to newest. If I’m giving a new podcast a shot I tend to listen to early episodes first. But, that’s a small nitpick. For us minimalists, it really is a joy to use.

I bought a yearly subscription for this app and like supporting the developer. This is clearly crafted with a lot of attention and care and I really enjoy the opinionated take on a podcasting app. One long queue is what most people need and the app gets out of the way.

However, I’ve been using the app for months and the app is riddled with bugs that get in the way of the listening experience.
- Resuming podcast from headset don’t work as the app seem to malfunction in the background. I have to force kill the app many times per week.
- Auto-download in the background doesn’t work so your podcasts aren’t ready to go.
- The feed UI often ends up with blank spaces due to a bug
- Feedback button doesn’t work unless you have Apple Mail installed
- In-frequent crashes, but still too often

Other than the bugs, the only thing I’d like to see added is a way to let the queue stay in chronological order. It’s a bit weird to have a backlog of podcasts only for the newest one to be added first in the queue. For episodic podcast it means you have to end up reordering your queue quite a bit. I respect the opinionated take of the app but I’d still love to see this added in some way.

I listen to hours of podcasts a week, but I don’t need much more than what Queue offers. I had to jump back to Pocket Casts simply for the reliability.

Cheering for the app and I’m glad I paid for a yearly subscription still.

If you want a good queuing experience you‘re way better off with Castro or Pocket Casts. This app purely looks good but is no fun to use, lacks functionality and has a high monthly price for pretty basic features.

The app is purely designed for looks but pretty unusable for the enthusiast listener it is marketed for. 
The idea with only one queue only works for people who have their podcasts well curated and pretty much only listen to the same shows but for heavy use its just not well built. You can only see 3-4 episodes in the queue, carplay is clunky, resuming listening on airpods works only half of the time and managing episodes is a nightmare of a hundred interactions.

I like the app and the animations, especially when you first open the app. Would like to see a onetime lifetime purchase option and the option not to use an account if not already implemented. Other than that great job.

I think this is a great start on an alternative that the App Store really needs. I do hope there is an iPad app in the future, and then I will be more inclined to switch from Overcast. I’m sorry, but I cannot currently support chapter markers being behind a paywall. I hope you reconsider this in the future. Also, the Log Out and Delete Account features do not work (neither button does anything).

I really like this app - it's just missing one feature that I use a lot. I use transcripts to click past things like sponsors, which I can't do here. I can skip forward manually, it's just not as simple.
It does support chapters, but the podcasts I listen to don't have them unfortunately.
That is the only thing I don't like about Queue. The interface is amazing and much nicer than any other podcast app I've used.

You have a good app, but with established podcast players like Overcast which has great features, and only charges HALF of what you do, you need to rethink your pricing strategy.

Die App ist top. Design und Funktionalität ist gegeben aber leider fehlt mir eine watchOS und macOS App, sowie CarPlay Unterstützung da ich Podcasts sehr gerne auch auf anderen Apple Geräten höre.

Promising application with a very clean design, it offers a pleasant experience. However, I will only switch to the paid subscription when the photo thumbnails of the podcasts in the queue are large enough. Currently, they are too small and it is difficult to distinguish them.

I’m still starting out with Queue but the animations and intro graphics already show that this is made with a lot of care. The interface seems much cleaner than other apps.

app is very well-designed. I love the visionOS style and the way they’ve simplified podcasting. however, I am on an iPhone 15PM, and the app feels heavy on my system - scrolling feels somewhat choppy and the app doesn’t feel as smooth as it could be

1. Deutscher Programmierer, aber keine deutsche Lokalisation. Ich setze mich doch nicht mit dem Wörterbuch hin um die Bedienung der App zusammen zu rätseln. 
2. Als ich dann ausloggen /Konto löschen wollte, tat der Button: nichts! 
Abo-Falle? Abzocke?

Bei manchen Apps habe ich den Eindruck, das die Entwickler nur für sich arbeiten. Nicht für einen Markt bzw. andere.
So ist es wohl auch hier.

Queue is what I’ve wanted since day 1 with podcasts. Just give me one long buffet of my podcasts. that’s it. I’ve got a long list of shows that I follow. But i can’t switch to Queue if there’s a way to import my shows. The intro is way too long. And why do i need to give them my Apple ID? If you’re asking a user to give you info, you need to tell them why you need it. And don’t make it mandatory. Pricing is also way off. $5/mo doesn’t unlock anything compelling or vital. Even if I wanted to support the dev, it’s not gonna be that much. 

Looks positive, but still needs work.

Ich habe die App vor 5 Minuten geladen.
Zuerst mal kam irgendeine Animation, die ich nur über einen forced close überhaupt beenden konnte. Nach einem Neustart kam dann wieder die Animation, aber diesmal dann wenigstens eine Aufforderung direkt einen Zwangsaccount anzulegen. Ich fand keine Möglichkeit das zu verhindern. Als wäre das nicht schlimm genug, war ich anschließend nichtmal eingeloggt. Auch das musste ich nochmals machen.
Nun, jetzt war ich endlich in der App. Diese begrüßte mich dann direkt mit einem „Popup“, dass der free-trial beendet ist und ich jetzt mal sofort auf Pro Upgrade solle. Im Ergebnis habe ich also nichts von der eigentlichen Funktion dieser App überhaupt gesehen, bevor ich sie dann nach ca. 2 Minuten wieder gelöscht habe.
Ich bin zwar wirklich händeringend auf der Suche nach einer guten Podcast App. Das Erlebnis dieser App ist aber ungefähr so, als würde mich ein Supermarkt beim Eintreten mit Elektroschocks und 100 Litern Eiswasser begrüßen.
Selbst wenn die App die beste Podcast App der Welt wäre. Schon aus Prinzip würde ich sie auf keinen Fall mehr nutzen. Nutzerverarschung in der pursten Form.

**Developer response:** Hey, dass du das Trial-Ended popup direkt nach dem Onboarding gesehen hast klingt nach einem Fehler, das soll natürlich erst viel später erscheinen - schau ich mir an. Der Rest ist subjektiv, die App muss ja nicht jedem gefallen, das ist oke :)

Nach der Kritik würde es mich jetzt allerdings umso mehr interessieren was du von der App im täglichen Gebrauch hältst, wenn du aktuell nach einer guten Podcast App suchst :)

I really want this app. I really want to live this app.  I downloaded it today for the simplicity of it all, every other app is too fat to be easy.  Slim interface, range of features, perfect.  Over two hours of listening it crashed 15x or more.  So frustrating.  I deleted, reinstalled, same thing.

Then I went to file a bug report from
Inside the app, write out the report and go to hit send and the send button doesn’t work.

Really appreciate the work but the dev needs a team on this, it could be huge!

I love this app. From using Apple Podcasts to Spotify music, I have heated every interface that I have ever used when listening to my favourite podcasts. Until this app came along, it is brilliant in every way that I could possibly think of and allows me to listen to my podcast without even having to think about the next thing, the only thing that I wish I could make this better is being able to discover more podcasts.

I swear to god I am not lying when I say this is one of the MOST thoughtfully crafted app on the App Store right now, it’s just no clutter and does exactly what it says it does and it is so great I seriously can’t recommend any other podcast app

I love this app. Great concept and nice look and feel. 
Just want to mention that I think I found a bug. The sleep timer works like expected but after the timer is done, the episode jumps back to the time where it has started. It’s a little bit annoying to forward manually the next day.

The sleep timer progress being reset after the timer is over is intentional, so that you can  still listen to the part you might have missed when you fell asleep, some people prefer that. But makes total sense that it‘s kinda subjective and maybe we need a setting! :)

Ich benutze seit Ewigkeiten Apple Podcast und bin damit auch relativ zufrieden. Es macht genau was es soll, nicht mehr und nicht weniger. Und genau auf dieser App habe ich „Schleifenquadrat“, den MacLife Podcast gehört (sehr empfehlenswert für alle Apple-Fans), in dem du der Entwickler interviewt wurde. Anfangs noch etwas skeptisch, weil Apple Podcast ja eigentlich ganz gut ist, habe ich mir Queue mal runtergeladen. 

Und war geflasht. Die App ist ziemlich intuitiv und eben clean gestaltet und doch ist es so viel angenehmer zu nutzen als alle anderen Podcast-Apps. Und die Flaggen wehen sogar 😉
Ansonsten würde ich vielleicht noch Kategorien in der suche vorschlagen. Aber ansonsten? Eine top App!

I love supporting indie devs and this app is worth supporting; it’s fantastic! The only thing that would make this app perfect is the option to undo accidental scrubbing through a podcast. This feature is in Overcast and I’ve come to really love it as I do this a lot!
