Also being able to let guests in remotely is super convenient! And now that Quext can also be added to the Apple Wallet is a game changer. ### 5/5 — Love it *2026-04-30, version 3.5.6* Great and easy access. ### 1/5 — Crazy glitchy *2026-01-26, version 3.3.7* Every other time I open it to says it doesn’t remember my face and or password. Also resets my saved doos every time I have to sign in. Takes me 3-4 tries for about 3 minutes for remote entry. Absolutely sucks when trying to bring in groceries and I’m standing in the rain stuck with this. Took the company 4 months also to fix a broken buzzer for our main door. Sometimes the app stops communicating you have to uninstall the entire app and redownload at least once a week. The app always logs me out at the worst time possible. You can only change the thermostat to hot or cold on your phone. It’s all stupid. But I’m rating it poorly because this is the least responsive, laggiest app I’ve ever had the displeasure of using. Simple thermostat commands can take almost 30 seconds to process. I miss my NEST, amazing app ### 1/5 — Zero customer support *2026-08-01* Have reached out several times, can’t log into my account, crickets…….. Was force to use this product by my apartment complex. The NEST I was forced to remove was so much better! ### 1/5 — Horrible *2026-05-15, version 3.5.6* There are always problems. The app does not connect to the thermostat. Every Sunday night the app updates and stops connecting to the thermostat. ### 1/5 — Awful *2026-02-20, version 3.4.1* They added a card to our Apple wallet, but guess what? It doesn’t work! We can control the thermostat from our phone, but guess what? It doesn’t work! I wake up to a 63° apartment when it’s set to 70°. We can unlock our door from our phone, but guess what? It doesn’t work! I have to stand outside my apartment for 3 minutes just to unlock my door. So unsafe and so miserable. ### 1/5 — Awful thermostat experience *2026-02-19, version 3.4.1* Anytime we try using the thermostat on the app or wall, something goes wrong. It will get stuck on a temperature and no matter what settings we try to change, the thermostat does nothing ### 1/5 — Worthless app and developers *2026-02-19, version 3.4.1* Most of us were forced by our apartment complexes to get this app, which is annoying enough as it is. But the fact that the app also legitimately sucks and is so frustrating to use makes it ten times worse. This app has more glitches I can count. A dozen updates later and it’s still the same issue where the app logs you out randomly. Takes forever to connect. Random “lock updates” whatever that means. Makes getting in and out of your home, a process that used to take two seconds, take up to two minutes. Frustrated and tired of how useless this app and system is. You wonder what the developers are doing? If anything at all. Wish I could give this app zero stars. ### 1/5 — CANT TURN OFF AC *2026-02-15, version 3.4.1* i need to turn off my ac, and when i hit off it simply will not turn off. I hit it on the physical wall thermostat as well as the app and it will refuse to turn off and instead run a cycle that i cannot get it to not complete. It is absolutely infuriating and incredibly frustrating design flaw. ### 1/5 — So bad *2026-02-15* There’s no reason it should be taking 3+ minutes to unlock my door. It’s unsafe. The thermostat doesn’t even work it goes whatever it wants. ### 1/5 — Locked out. AGAIN *2026-02-15, version 3.4.1* This app is already super slow and frequent ‘lock updates’ (that only do so when you need to get in) so it takes even longer to unlock, but today the app literally would not load. I had to delete and redownload while standing outside in the cold. Thankfully I wasn’t in a rush but I can only pray this doesn’t happen in an emergency and I can’t get in or something doesn’t happen to my pets. This is a safety hazard all in itself. Only reason I’m not rating a zero is because it won’t let me and my apartment complex is even more at fault for not giving us any fobs. ### 1/5 — Terrible, laggy, buggy, worst residential experience of all time *2026-02-10, version 3.4.0* Wish I could give it zero stars. My lock (that I can ONLY UNLOCK WITH MYPHONE btw) has to “update” every other time. Takes soooo long to connect, if I can even get signed into the app since it kicks me out half the time. I have to wait outside for a solid 20 seconds in the hot summer or freezing winter to unlock my door. Wait did I mention you have to do it TO LOCK YOUR DOOR AS WELL?
