### 4/5 — Ad Block Detection

*2026-09-02, version 1.73.3*

Ad Blocker is getting detected on websites.

### 5/5 — Easy 5/5 and I’d give it more stars if Apple would let me

*2026-08-15*

I genuinely love Quiche (both the browser and the dish) and it’s the only mobile browser I’ve ever used that has actually made browsing the internet enjoyable. The built in blocker works perfectly and not being constantly assaulted by ads, pop ups, and videos every time I open a website has legitimately improved this small part of my daily life. The tools and features are simple, intuitive, dare I say elegant. But my favorite part is the level of customization available for so many features. I spent an embarrassing amount of time playing around with different layouts and settings and honestly it was so fun. The developers philosophy behind Quiche comes through in every aspect of his product - a simple, useful tool for exploring the internet instead of just another vehicle for collecting my stats and covering every available inch of my screen with ads.

### 5/5 — Fantastic Browser with a lot of potential

*2026-08-14, version 1.73.2*

I love Quiche’s customizablity and how polished it is. It is clear that a lot of thought and care that went into Quiche, especially for a single developer.

### 4/5 — Very good - still has some annoying bugs! 😩

*2026-08-14*

Overall, very satisfied with this browser, but it still has lots of annoying bugs, I regularly browse Facebook and Instagram on browser because I don’t like the apps, but still to this day logging in via quiche browser is impossible.

There is supposed to be an ad blocker, but I find myself going back to other browsers because the ad blocker sometimes doesn’t work, and I end up getting too many ads.

I also find that when you type in a search query into the address bar it sometimes doesn’t send the query onto the search engine.

Whilst travelling, I’ve also went into problems with hotel Wi-Fi login where quiche doesn’t want to load the site, therefore I have to switch browsers.

Currently, there still won’t be my first choice, even though it’s design is brilliant and very customisable, once these bugs are worked out, then I could make it my main one, for now it just needs a little bit more work to make it the best!

**Developer response:** My sincere apologies for all those shortcomings.

I am regularly using the web versions of Facebook and Instagram, so I would like to hear more about your issues. Can you please reach out by DM or email so that we can troubleshoot them together (Quiche Browser Settings → Contact)?

Thank you very much!

### 5/5 — Stunning

*2026-08-06, version 1.73*

The most beautiful browser available for iPhone. I would love a Mac browser, definitely will support.

### 5/5 — Bonne qualité de navigateur

*2026-08-06*

Pleins d options intéressantes et utiles

### 5/5 — Wonderful experience

*2026-08-05*

I’ve tried so many browsers and having tested this one over the last few days I have gone for the yearly subscription. I love the high level of customisation of the toolbar. It’s worth taking the time to get to know exactly what’s possible. The design itself is great. Latest update improves things further although I can’t find how to switch from Private Mode back to non private at the moment.
Have tested the privacy of this browser via various fingerprinting sites and can confirm it has good protection.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for your review and so generously funding the app development!

You can switch between standard and private modes:
• On the Tab Overview, by tapping the bottom centered menu.
• By long-pressing the Tabs button in your toolbar.

Please always feel free to reach out by email or DM for any questions, from Settings → Contact!

### 5/5 — Quibble

*2026-08-05, version 1.73*

Should drop “browser” from the label that displays below the icon.

### 5/5 — Phenomenal browser that cares about users

*2026-08-02, version 1.73*

I am head over heels for this browser. It looks good, feels good, and is super customizable. Browsing the web is so bad these days, but Quiche makes it enjoyable again with its user forward features and privacy focus.

Support this app and the dev!! Quiche Plus is worth it!

### 5/5 — Love it!

*2026-08-01*

Try it.

### 5/5 — Immediate daily driver

*2026-08-01, version 1.73*

Replaced every other browser I’ve got on my phone. Great developer support. Thoughtfully made and only getting better.

### 5/5 — Will set you free

*2026-08-01*

Use this browser to remember what the web was like before getting encrusted with plaque. Highly customizable controls mean no irritations, either. Try it. It's free. You won't go back.

### 5/5 — actually customizable

*2026-07-30, version 1.73*

this browser is great! I’m very happy with how customizable it really is. I also love how intuitive the design is, can’t wait for an ipad version

one thing though, you guys should add the feature where you can swipe left and right on the URL bar to quickly navigate between other open tabs. having that would be sickk😁

### 5/5 — Refreshing!

*2026-07-30*

Just installed hours ago an already love it. Still discovering the many features available.

### 5/5 — Clean but need locations maps

*2026-07-30*

Hi, the browser is very smooth, love the Liquid Glass. I just have one concern. When I search for restaurants near me, usually Google shows me places. But in this browser, it doesn’t

**Developer response:** Please go to Quiche Browser settings → Search and turn “Disable AI Features” off.

### 5/5 — Love the ad blocking

*2026-07-25, version 1.72*

I’m really enjoying this lightweight browser. It’s restored my enjoyment of surfing websites by blocking ads and AI gobbledygook. Bye Safari, you’re still better than Chrome, but I love Quiche.

### 5/5 — I made it reddish pink

*2026-07-24*

And so it’s perfect for me. Thanks!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Can't even change the newtab wallpaper🥀

*2026-08-11*

If your gonna make a customizable browser at least make it so I can change the background

**Developer response:** Does that *really* deserve 1-star just for that?
I work alone with very limited time and finance resources, and am doing my best to provide features for everyone. Thank you for your understanding.

### 1/5 — Comfort mode a paid feature.

*2026-08-08, version 1.73.2*

You really put comfort mode behind a pay wall? “We are going to put everything as high as we can.” Then charge the user for easier reaching.😂😂

### 1/5 — Cons

*2026-04-24*

1. Can’t import HTML bookmarks

2. Inferior UX and QoL features compared to Aloha Browser (which isn’t from Microsoft)
↳ Example: Can’t flush cache to reduce storage space without losing browsing history or reseting cookie session. This makes Quiche the only third-party browser that makes no difference from Safari itself.

Aloha is mentioned because it’s similar to Quiche but with lot’s of desktop features designed with mobile in mind like its file management system to media downloads utility where the inbuilt media player itself is intuitive as a dedicated IINA or VLC player.

3. Quiche Industries chose to be closed-source in nature, does it have an independent audit or certification to validate its privacy policy claims?

4. What’s the purpose of extended user agents like Chrome or FireFox? The only other browser that features multiple user agents is Orion to support respective browser extensions like uBlock Origin on WebKit.

5. What’s Quiche browser’s adblocking proficiency compared to HaGeZi Ultimate for example, can it block ads from YouTube-Spotify or filter sponsored content from Reddit-Twitter?

### 1/5 — Dark mode

*2026-01-24, version 1.68.3*

Having to pay for a basic feature like dark mode is beyond ridiculous.

### 1/5 — monthly subscription for dark mode?

*2026-01-05, version 1.68.1*

need to pay for dark mode :(

### 1/5 — Great browser

*2025-03-22, version 1.56*

Finally a browser that I don’t have a complaint about
Great job

### 1/5 — junk

*2024-03-14, version 1.15*

searches with duck duck go away, cant change, deleted

### 2/5 — All of a sudden super buggy

*2026-08-03, version 1.73*

Loved it, but all of a sudden got supper buggy on iPhone. When opening links and opening new tabs you have a 50/50 chance of the browser completely crashing out. Super unstable.

### 2/5 — Charging for an accessibility. Yuck!

*2026-07-23, version 1.72*

(Update: 7/22/26) Ahh! Then it is Apple who is misleading people by saying that your browser's comfort feature is an accessibility feature. My apologies. Did you inform Apple that the App Store is misleading your customers by saying that your app offers a dark mode as an accessibility? I would have thought that it is the developer who identifies their app's features to the consumer.

-------------------

Charging for an accessibility feature doesn't make it accessible. It makes it a feature. Kinda like saying that giving you a tip is the same thing as paying for a subscription. A paid feature is not an accessible feature. It's just a feature. Just like a tip is just a tip.

### 2/5 — Needs to have an iPad version

*2026-01-30, version 1.68.3*

I can see the potential of this app but since 99% of my online activity is on my iPad in horizontal mode, a vertical representation of an iPhone screen is not useful. I look forward to thr iPad version, for which I'd happily pay.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Best

*2026-09-06*

Just started using it, and honestly, I’m already a fan 😭

### 5/5 — Amazing Browser

*2026-09-04, version 1.73.3*

I am so grateful for all of the Reddit threads that led me here. Quiche is more optimized than Brave, less buggy than Orion, and more customizable than any other mobile browser I’ve tried. Thank you Greg!

### 5/5 — Wicked good

*2026-09-02, version 1.73.3*

This is what all browsers should be. Be the user not the datapoint.

### 5/5 — I thought WebKit would always be slow but somehow quiche browser makes it work

*2026-09-02, version 1.73.3*

I have no idea what the magic is, but this browser runs better on my aging 13 mini than safari or any other 3rd party browser. I can look at more than one website without my phone getting hotter than the surface of the sun, I can scroll down to the bottom of a recipe page without it crashing before I reach the bottom. Incredible. 10 out of 10.

### 5/5 — ★★★★★ Elegant, fast, and built with real craft

*2026-08-21, version 1.73.3*

Quiche Browser is what a mobile browser should feel like. The design is clean and minimal, with no clutter and no wasted taps. Every screen feels intentional.

Resource use is excellent. Pages load fast. The app stays light on battery and memory, even with many tabs open.

Customization is the real standout. You can place every toolbar button where you want it. You can change the address bar, the menus, and the toolbar color. Few browsers give you this much control without turning into a mess of settings.

It’s built on WebKit, and it shows. The scrolling, the rendering, and the overall feel are smooth on iPhone. The iPad version is still in beta, but it already points to the same level of care.

This is a browser made by someone who pays attention to detail. Highly recommended.

### 5/5 — My favourite mobile browser

*2026-08-21, version 1.73.3*

Quiche is fast, minimal and customisable

### 5/5 — A Fresh and Smooth Browsing Experience

*2026-08-21*

Quiche Browser is fast, clean, and beautifully designed. The interface feels simple and intuitive, while browsing is smooth and responsive. It’s a refreshing alternative to the usual browsers, and I’ve really enjoyed using it so far. Definitely worth trying!

### 5/5 — Best browser

*2026-08-19, version 1.73.3*

This is the perfect browser. It does everything I want and nothing I don’t want. It’s the best browser I have ever used.

### 5/5 — My new default mobile browser

*2026-08-18, version 1.73.3*

A real return to what I want in a mobile browser. Minimalist yet very customizable. Feels snappy and not stuffed with trackers, etc.

### 5/5 — Hands down the smoothest and most efficient browser

*2026-08-16*

I recently downloaded the Quiche Browser and the moment I opened it, I got sort of a calm vibe. This browser’s provides everything that’s essential. Safari is good but this is a great alternative to it.
