Would love to see 2 features: 1) the ability to set an option in a destination to always send task to a todo list. Requiring that we hit the alarm button first prevents tasks from being created when the Apple Share Feature is used. 2) An easy way to set the Vault and specify a default sub folder for notes to save per destination. These would push the app to 5 stars for me. Thanks! ### 4/5 — Excellent *2026-04-28* Really a truly great app. Only four stars as it’s a bit difficult to get the settings just right, which is not terribly intuitive, and there is room for improvement there. For those saying that you have to open Obsidian after, I am not finding that to be true. So perhaps thats a setting issue somewhere. Been looking for something like this for a long time and is shockingly inexpensive. ### 4/5 — Great functionality. Packed with tonnes of features and the open AI API integration is exactly what I was looking for. Just with there was an option for transcription ONLY. Currently you can record a voice note, auto transcribe it, then you have to delete the voice recording before inserting every time. Otherwise your vault will fill up with the audio files. Genuine need being solved by me as an Obsidian fan and someone diagnosed with ADHD. This adds a lot of value to the terrible Obsidian native app. Removed one star because it can be inconsistent between updates of Obsidian/iOS ecosystem and the get stuck in “Sending”. I have one request: it would be great if you could specify in the template that only the transcript should be saved and not the sound file. So many great features, widgets, appends to notes, scan documents, open ai integration. Очень неприятно мне было)) ### 4/5 — Brilliant app - a few bugs that need ironing out *2025-06-08, version 1.8.2* Brilliant app and I find it very useful, has some bugs that need fixing. 1) sometimes the destinations are gone and need re-adding. I’m not 100% sure but think this happens whenever the app is updated. 2) send to Apple reminders doesn’t work 3) the option for what to do after sending the quick capture doesn’t have any affect, it always stays open for the next note. For the UI it wasn’t intuitive to know I can swipe right on a destination to edit it. Great app with lots of potential and worth paying for. ### 5/5 — Brilliant *2025-06-01, version 1.7.8* This a simple but brilliant app. I expected a quick way to save quick notes to obsidian, but this app is probably the quickest quick capture I’ve used full stop. Amazing job, thanks ### 3/5 — Really great note capturing on mobile *2025-05-29* Great app for heavy Obsidian users who also work on mobile. Capturing tasks directly to my notes works flawlessly and has been a solid productivity boost. However, the main feature that sold me, sending tasks to both my notes and Apple Reminders, has not worked reliably. Out of several attempts, it only worked once. If that gets fixed, this would easily be a 5-star tool. For now, pro user giving it 3 out of 5. ### 3/5 — Bug when trying to save a link *2025-05-21* There’s a bug when trying to save a link when using the Apple share button. It says it saved the link in the note but it doesn’t show up. No other option. Deleted. The developer response is arrogant and probably a lie, since there are many other app developers being able to offer paid services without the need for a login. ### 2/5 — Frustrating *2025-05-12, version 1.7.2* Frustrating.. why do I need to create an account to send to my local obsidian database? Isn’t the point of obsidian to reason an element of privacy? ### 2/5 — Why Require Sign In? *2025-02-26, version 1.5.6* Looks like a nice app but don’t get why it has to require sign in, and it’s not even anonymous sign in. ### 2/5 — Cannot even try *2024-11-26* The only option to pass the initial screen here is to Sign in with Apple which requires your apple ID to have adopted two-factor authentication. If there were other sign in options I would consider buying this. **Developer response:** I think 2FA requirement is probably from Apple, we don't put any of those restrictions. Unfortunately at the moment we are not exploring any other sign in methods. But Obsidian primarily collects and builds with text — so is it unreasonable to expect audio captures to arrive transcribed? Especially as the developer already has an effective transcription app... ### 3/5 — Could be Good, need some work *2026-01-05* Not a bad application, and really fills a gap in the obsidian ecosystem. I tried to use it for a daily journal, but the note creation seems to choke if you try to point it at a subdirectory with the file naming, something like yyyy/mm-mmmm/yyyy-mm-dd doesn’t get to the appropriate file. ### 3/5 — Needs some more bug fixes! *2025-11-02* Great app with lots of cool features. Doesn’t want to seem to link to Todoist correctly - might be user error. Main bug is with text entering - there’s a fairly lengthy delay between typing and text showing up. The official mobile app is good, but a bit clunky for quickly capturing ideas. This app saves it. On another note, I do have two feature requests. The first is a template feature, perhaps drawing from the official apps template library. Sometimes o want templates prompts to guide my quick capture input and this would be useful. Second, an Apple Watch companion app with just voice-to-text capture would be immensely helpful for situations where the phone is not easily accessible.
