## What is Quick Journal?

Quick Journal is the simplest way to keep a journal.

You can customize your journal's theme, fonts, app icon, layout, and even where the composer button is placed.

To help you write or keep track of your entries, the app features widgets you can put on your home screen.

You can copy or share your entries. You can always come back to an entry later by saving it as a draft, just swipe down and the entry will be saved.

### 1/5 — iCloud Sync Data Loss

I literally lost ALL of my entries upon enabling iCloud Sync on Quick Journal! The only thing the app shows is specifically six random entries stating: "Test Content" I had over 1,000 Notes now ALL GONE from this app 😭 the only saving grace is if the developer adds code to import existing exported entries from iCloud Drive.

**Developer response:** Hey there. I’m so sorry to hear about this experience. I have tried to trace why this occurred and I think I have a potential fix that I will push live as soon as possible. If the update does not fix your solution, please let me know. I also have a way to likely recover your entries using ICloud Backups, if you have feature that turned on. Once again, sorry for the stress. Thank you for letting me know.

I recently found this app while searching the App Store for a handy way to quickly write and store odd thoughts during the day. This app is easy to use right out of the box.

One feature request: integrating a Share system so I can highlight text in other apps and Share it with Quick Journal.  Nothing extravagant, don't need graphics import, just text.  

Second future feature: simple #tags maybe?

love the simplicity and ease of use! i just have one suggestion and one problem. 

the suggestion is to add more entry fonts, i think that it would make the app look more put together. i would really like the arial font😆

the bug is: when you turn on icloud, it deletes your notes. now, i've only had one note while this happened, but i've done this one two devices with the same outcome.

Hey there charlie, downloaded this app after I saw your linkedin post and have been using it for the past 9 months. Love it! But one problem, I have too many notes to export manually and if I change devices, I will lose these notes 🥲 please include a cloud storage or export option cause the idea is driving me nuts and the app is too good
