Download this app to clean up your phone!” Come on. This is for kids. ### 3/5 — Don’t pay to remove ads!! It is unintuitive and riddled with ads. I tend to try multiple apps to find my favorite, so I’ve tried several other student driving apps. This app has the highest rating of the apps that have thousands of reviews. All features are available for free and removing ads was cheap. I have read many reviews and am disappointed the creators have gotten the same notes for years. I’m not sure why it annoys people to have to click a couple buttons, but that could probably be made optional. I appreciate having those options (environment, weather, conditions) because it will give us an idea of what we need to practice in. I would even like an option to indicate the vehicle driven (I have instead edited the data to change P[arent] to the car.) I would like to be able to edit the skills after the event has been saved. Another missing feature is the actual time of the drive is missing from the export. I understand that it’s important to many DMVs. Finally, the map feature has never worked for us. So I would (and have) recommended this app over all others, but would love to see some updates. ### 2/5 — Can’t export all the data and requires certain things I don’t want *2025-05-11, version 2.2* It records the start time and end time because I can see it in the app for all the logs, but when I go to export it only shows the total drive time which is not what I need for the DMV. I now have to manually copy down all of my logs. The app also requires me to enter multiple types of driving conditions which I don’t need for the DMV but I have to do it anyway or else I can’t submit the log. Would not recommend unless the data outputting is exactly what you need. ### 3/5 — Paid to disable ads… keeps playing ads *2025-03-09, version 2.2* As in the title. It just shows an ad for some random Amazon stuff. ### 2/5 — Decent, but…won’t run in the background… *2023-07-23, version 2.0* Overall a decent app for tracking drives. One of the features I really like about the app is the ability to edit a drive once completed…Unfortunately, I have to use that feature all the time because the app will not track the drive time unless it is open… I have all my settings to allow it to run in the background etc., but it still will not. Seems like this would be a no brainer and pretty simple fix to an annoying issue. Don’t bother trying to use this app if your running a maps program unless you’re watching the time and tracking it on your own. ### 3/5 — Bug issues *2023-07-04, version 2.0* It works great for me, as I don’t use the map and I just do it manually- but I made a mistake when inputting my info for the amount of night hours I need (10 instead of 20) and while I can get into the screen to change it, there is no way to get the keyboard down so I can save changes, and it’s really annoying. The exit button isn’t on the screen. So I deleted the app and re-logged my hours, which took some time, but that didn’t really help because the same thing happened again. How do I fix it? ### 3/5 — works fine. not accepted by any DMV in my state *2023-05-18, version 2.0* title says it all. this app works fine, no major annoyances or bugs, i just cant actually use it. there needs to be a print feature so you can print out your stuff and have the papers. The really egregious issue came after the last update. The developer has decided that FORCED advertisements would make the app better. Meaning I’ll be trying to input my time and an ad video will pop up and I won’t be able to input anything. ### 2/5 — Glitchy… wouldn’t recommend but does the job *2023-03-08, version 1.5* The app occasionally adds extra time on my drives, making a 22 minute into a 12 hour and 22 minute drive, despite the fact that it was PM to PM. It also doesn’t correct the total time after you correct the previous drive times. I’ve also found the app tracking me at random times when I’m not even driving or using the app… why? Other than those annoying bits, it works well-ish. Would not recommend, but it will do the job. Mostly. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Buggy logger *2024-11-24, version 2.2* Whenever my screen turns of, this logger stops counting, so I total about 15 seconds each drive until I click log drive and it gives the right amount. Additionally, on multiple occasions this app has actually subtracted time from my total. ### 1/5 — Glitchy app delayed my sons driving test *2024-04-22, version 2.2* The printout for this app does not show times, which was required for my son to get his NC drivers license. The delay caused by having to add these times led to his slot being canceled. If you live in NC, use Road Ready instead of this app. ### 1/5 — Nighttime hours not recorded correctly *2024-01-13, version 2.0* The app is not recording nighttime driving hours correctly. Some hours driven at night are recorded as daytime hours. I went to save hour 56 minute drive, but because I had not selected the driving environment, it deleted it. I tried to go back and select city driving, but instead, it deleted the entire drive. This is a basic need, and I was more than annoyed when I realized I couldn’t just fix it. We had the app running, but had to have it running in the background because of the need for navigation to be visible on the phone. The timer stops when the app is running in the background.
