Now all I can see is the names of the boxes, but all my pictures and descriptions are wiped, so it’s useless. Very disappointing! I have reached out for support in the past, when some of my pictures stopped showing up, and was told nothing can be done/was not given support. ### 2/5 — Need an account *2024-01-02* It’s to much of a hassle and road blocks when you can’t use multiple devices for the same purpose Especially when you have couple people working and need one device! That’s why there should be an account setting And syncing doesn’t work because for each device it’s asks for credits when you already paid for it on another device and trying to sync but it doesn’t let you ### 2/5 — Can’t use for multiple accounts *2022-04-08* I have not been able to sign out of the app which I used for storage management for out boosters club. Now I wanted to use the same app to organize my home but don’t seem to be able to start a new account with a different email. ### 3/5 — Requests a creepy level of access to dropbox *2019-03-07* You have to share your entire dropbox contents to sync. I recommend setting up a separate dropbox account for this app or sticking to the iCloud sync if you don’t need to share with multiple people (which anyone actually using this app probably needs to do). They could also support other services for multi-user sync. **Developer response:** Thank you for your review! As you mentioned, Dropbox is not the only option for syncing your data - you can also sync to iCloud with the app. Using the iCloud method will allow devices linked to the same Apple ID to access the same Quick Peek data. We take the privacy of our users seriously and can assure you that the app doesn't access or write anything in your Dropbox aside from the Quick Peek folder that is used to store the data files associated with the app. We appreciate your feedback about multi-user sync options and will consider it for future development. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — So Frustrated… *2024-07-17* I’m beginning my move and wanted to get a jump on it, getting organized, saw the Quick Peek system and thought I’d try it. Can’t even begin, every time I go to “edit” a location, like, Attic or Storage, it bounces me out of the app and I have to start again. Tried deleting the app and downloading it again, still not working! I tried it 10x, the same thing keeps happening. Looks like Quick Peek is going to get the Quick Delete. ### 1/5 — Abandoned App *2023-05-11* Another abandoned app littering the AppStore. It’s been 4 years since an update, I sent an email asking some information and never got a reply. Also if you try to buy labels the app just crashes! ### 1/5 — Do No Buy *2023-04-12* It doesn’t work , even when you spend the money. It claims I didn’t buy enough. ### 1/5 — Lost all my data *2022-09-29* I was excited when I found this app and used it successfully (although not without certain issues) for about two years. I bought labels and printed out stickers for my boxes, cataloged a lot of my stuff. At some pont there was a mandatory update tp the app and I lost all of my data!! Not gonna bother with it anymore. ### 1/5 — Can’t buy labels *2022-09-21, version 2.1.1* I downloaded the app, the labels are reasonably priced but when I try to buy them the app crashes. No bueno. Tried to purchase “print your own” credits, enter your info and it freezes up. ### 1/5 — Was great but stole my purchase credits *2020-03-22* I bought $20 in credits to print my own labels for packing and that was great, but then they quit supporting that app and released a new one and I don’t have access to my purchase any longer. I’ve emailed the company that bought them out and they just ignore you. Run from these shysters. Now I have boxes with labels and I have no clue what’s in them! Thanks for nothing. ### 1/5 — Doomed *2019-01-12* The goal is to sell you labels. The app is too basic. I can’t see enough people investing in it to keep it going so I can’t imagine spending the time to set it up and trusting that my data will be secure. Maybe the app will be sold again and the new owners can make something of it. **Developer response:** First, thank you for your feedback. Quick Peek is an actively supported app and product that is designed to work with our label packs that are available for purchase at various retailers in the United States. To use the app, you can purchase the pre-printed labels in a store, or you can purchase label credits in the app and download label files you can print yourself. Live changing Marie Kondo style ### 5/5 — Best for frequent movers *2019-01-02* Easy to navigate and add pictures. It’s been the best since we move frequently and can leave stuff in boxes rather than unpack every time. ### 4/5 — Does what it needs to do. *2019-07-09* QuickPeek stores images of what is in a container and gives a list of the images for later retrieval. A label is attached to the container, and a picture is taken of the label. Later, when you need to know what is in the container, you simply scan the label. A list of pictures of what is in the container (for most of us, a box!), is then available for you to decide whether to get the boX down from its place on the highest shelf, or try another box. This is a vary basic program. It does not have options for setting up a data base system or anything to sort or search the data you have created with your phone and it’s built-in camera. That said, it follows that it may be used as a very low level “inventory” program for a small company, although I don’t think it would have been adequate for any of the small companies I started. However, it works very well for the boxes in my basement or garage! This program is a good answer to the question “where is that old antique watermelon peeler we bought a few years back when we were on Vacation?”, or “what in the world is in all those boxes in the garage”. It may even be used to catalog a lot of photographs, though I don’t know if it would be practical for that application. But for smaller, more personal applications, it would be good. **Developer response:** Thank you so much for your review. In addition to scanning a box's label to see what's in the box, there is also an "all items" feature in the app which allows you to search for items by the names you originally assigned them and also view all items visually across all of your boxes. Quick Peek was designed to be simple and easy-to-use - for moving, and also organizing items in your attic, basement, garage, etc., as you've mentioned. Still concerned that the app was sold to another company. ### 3/5 — Great Concept but incomplete *2024-04-26* Everything works up until you try to add the location that the box is stored. When I click on the “add new”, the app closes. Can someone help me figure this out please? I am trying to store two of my deceased children’s belongings, and want to make sure everything is correct. Just don’t count on being able to sync the information over multiple devices. Unless I have my phone, I can’t find anything because it won’t sync all my boxes to my iPad only some. I tried to contact customer support, at Blue Lounge… no help at all ### 3/5 — Great, but it won’t let me purchase more credits. *2023-06-11* Great app, but it won’t allow me to buy multiple credits of the same quantity. I wasn’t sure how many labels I needed to finish my move, so I’ve been trying to buy another 10 to 20 credits, but it says I have already made the purchase and have insufficient credits. I’m unable to continue using the app or create labels. Please help! ### 3/5 — Good But Would Like to See Additional Features *2020-03-19* I think this concept and the app is pretty great, however, there are some additional features that I would like to see. 1) Search for Object I’d like to be able to type in a search for an object and be shown which box it’s in. 2) Rearrange Items I’d like the ability to “drag and drop” items to organize their pictures inside my boxes. ### 3/5 — Must back up *2020-02-21* It works, for what it’s worth, but I spent hours cataloguing stuff years ago only to realize it was all lost time because you have to use cloud based storage to keep the information.
