## What is Quick Todo Reminder?

Quick Todo Reminder is an offline-first task reminder app designed for fast capture and reliable local notifications.
Fast 2-step task creation
Create tasks in two quick steps: enter what you need to do, then enter when you want to be reminded. The app uses a strict date/time parser that accepts multiple formats (e.g., "today 21:00", "tomorrow 9am", "2026/06/23 10:00") to prevent accidental scheduling from ambiguous input.
Smart time-based organization
The home screen automatically groups unfinished tasks into clear, actionable sections: Late (overdue), Today, Tomorrow, This Week (Sun–Sat), and Completed Today (shown temporarily for progress tracking).
Flexible reminder management
When a notification fires, you can confirm and return to home, snooze for 10 minutes, change the time for today (creates a new task and marks the original as completed), or skip to tomorrow.
Siri & Shortcuts
Add tasks without opening the app. Say "Hey Siri, Add task to Todo Reminder" to open the app to the add screen, or run the same shortcut from the Shortcuts app. You can also use a URL (e.g. from Notes or automations) to add a task with a pre-filled title.
Important tasks workflow
Mark tasks as Important to view them in a dedicated list, reorder them, and complete them directly from the Important view.
Statistics
View your progress at a glance: completed and remaining tasks for Today, This week, and Overall, so you can track how much you're getting done.
Automatic cleanup
To prevent infinite overdue lists, tasks that are overdue for more than 7 days automatically disappear from the home screen (data remains stored on your device).
Offline-first design
No accounts, no backend, no sync. All tasks are stored on your device using local storage. Reminders are scheduled as local notifications, so they work even without a network connection.
