Update on review The mileage often fails to record trip for my needs an important feature. Set the correct parameters in settings and still fails to track mileage on the odd occasion. Disappointed with this app only good for invoicing ### 1/5 — Buggiest App *2025-11-19, version 6.4.157* Nothing but problems with this app. Doesn’t let me connect to my bank, doesn’t let me renew my subscription and trying to find a way to contact customer support is a nightmare. There is always a “bank connection issue” which doesn’t allow you to categorize spending from the app. You must fix the bank issue through the web version of quickbooks, and then it stays connected for a few hours at most, and then the app will show an issue again. All in all, the app’s functions don’t work 100% of the time, so it’s pretty pointless. Would not waste your time ### 1/5 — Frustrating and Time-Wasting *2025-07-09, version 6.4.155* As a sole trader, I found this app to be more of a hassle than a help. First, it wouldn’t connect to my online bank account because it’s not set up for business use — so I had to open an entirely new account just to receive income. Second, I needed to track my mileage accurately, but the app doesn’t allow for odometer readings, which makes it useless for proper logbooks. It also drains my phone battery significantly while tracking, and it logged trips when I was a passenger in someone else’s car, forcing me to create a separate vehicle profile just to sort it out. Thirdly, I uploaded all my income invoices via the email function, thinking it would save time — but they were categorized as expenses and there’s no option to change them to income, even after contacting support. In the end, this app cost me time instead of saving it. I’ve cancelled my subscription and gone back to using a simple Excel spreadsheet — it’s just as fast and far less frustrating and doesn’t have much more functionality. ### 1/5 — Hard to use *2025-07-01, version 6.4.155* DATES APPEARING WRONG. MY JULY 1ST RECEIPTS LOG AS JANUARY 7, LAST FINANCIAL YEAR. PLEASE FIX! The receipts I snap all default American dates! So all my dates are wrong and the AI assistant has no idea. After months of trying to fix an issue with my accounts disconnecting and spending of words of three hours on the phone multiple times I was offered a discount on my monthly payment which was fine but the app was still not working correctly so I called to have it canceled & thought it was. Please tell me why I am still being billed for a service I am not using and have not used for a year because it does not work properly. ### 1/5 — Not! *2026-04-30, version 6.4.168* Main thing is invoices going to clients junk mail and not getting paid in time. Lost a few thousand KM on and off even when everything is set up proper! Bank somehow got disconnected from Quick books right at tax time and teck support was not helpful. They were more interested in a review than teck support. I’m not interested in how I can rate you if you haven’t helped yet? And teasing to set up Visa payment and to know it will never be set up unless I’m fully upgraded and NOTE QB didn’t advertise to up grade to get this feature it just kept saying this is not set up yet. I learned this from teck support. Since then constant bank connection errors and continually sending me in a circular loop to try and add the accounts back in. I had to manually add all my transactions in at the end of 2025 so I could do my taxes. At the same time it locked out my ability to accept credit card payments, so invoices just say to contact me for payment methods. A support request resulted in an email link that just put me through the same “link accounts” loop and never resolved the issue. I’m done. It is now completely useless and I am cancelling because I may as well just use a spreadsheet.
