## What is Quickode?

Quickode checks a link before it opens. Scan a QR code and Safe Scan looks at the address on your device, then tells you if it shows warning signs: a hidden short link, a look-alike of a famous brand, a page without encryption or an odd address.

SAFE SCAN
• Warns about look-alike and scam-style links
• Shows the real address before you open it
• Runs on your device: the links you scan are not sent anywhere to be checked
• No check can promise a link is safe, so Quickode shows what it found and you decide

SCAN ANYTHING
• QR codes and barcodes, with the camera or from a photo
• Torch and camera flip for dark places

CREATE CODES
• Wi-Fi, website, contact, email, phone, message and location codes
• Share or save any code as an image

KEEP IT SIMPLE
• History of what you scanned and created, kept on your phone
• No account needed

Quickode is free and supported by ads.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.1.0 — 2026-11-03

Quickode is here. Formerly QR Scanner Pro, now with Safe Scan: before a link opens, Quickode checks the address on your device and tells you if it shows warning signs, such as a hidden short link, a look-alike of a known brand or an unencrypted page.

• New look, splash screen and app icon
• Scan any barcode, also from a photo
• Safer opening: links with warnings are copied first, you choose whether to open them
• Now in 14 languages

### 1.0.2 — 2026-10-02

The app now speaks Polish, Czech, Romanian, Greek, Turkish and Norwegian.

Users in Europe are now asked how their data may be used for advertising, and that choice is respected.

### 1.0 — 2026-01-29
