It’s a super flexible app for Gantt charts and easy to export. My only advice is if you want PDF export you need to buy the ‘pro’ app which costs a little more- but definitely worth it if you want to export. I’m really happy to support decelerations who make excellent apps and back them up with excellent service. ### 5/5 — The Project Management App I’ve Been Looking For *2018-10-09, version 8.6* QuickPlan has been a massive help in organizing multiple projects on a daily basis. The UX is smooth, intuitive and simple to edit as deliverables change. Excellent app and the latest update only improves on previous iterations! ### 5/5 — Great App - don’t waste you time with others *2018-05-18, version 8.2* I don’t generally bother writing a review on apps unless they prove to be a waste of space on my iPad. I am a construction project manager and this app makes updating project schedules a breeze. ### 5/5 — A Really Useful Tool *2018-02-22, version 8.2* I find this hugely useful for planning real world projects - on a transatlantic flight, it's so much easier to whip out the iPad or phone than mucking about with a laptop and MS Project. The feel of this kind of reminds me of Omniplan on the Mac - my previous go-to planner. The flexible export options are pretty handy too (I find myself using it in tandem with Mindnode - they interoperable perfectly). Even the excel export has seen a little use.... Main criticism - the eye bleeding project select screen. That needs a redesign to put iCloud/Dropbox more front & centre (and scrap the afoul backdrop). Still - respectable project planning in a tiny package. ### 5/5 — best app for project planning for desktop & ipadpro *2017-10-08, version 8.2* I’ve tried them all and this one is the easiest to use by far. I’m a remodeling contractor and I use this app to give me a accurate perspective of my ever changing schedules. ### 5/5 — My favorite *2017-06-05, version 8.1* I had the phone version but it was a work phone, work went and changed to a flip phone so I bought an iPad for myself and it was the first app I wanted to get. Enjoy it! ### 5/5 — Don't buy anything else for project management *2016-11-06, version 8.1* I have never taken the time to stop what I'm doing just to write a review for an app, let alone write the review when the apps constantly ask you for your input. I'll just say this, don't waste your money on any other project management app. This app does everything it says and more. It's the easiest to use, won't play the bait-n-switch non-sense that everyone is starting to do now with 'in-app' purchases. It just works. Watch a few of the onboarding videos and you'll be hooked. It's amazing. ### 5/5 — Pleasantly Surprised *2016-10-03, version 8.0* This has instantly become my go to "Make the plan : Work the Plan" app. I feel like I am an app addict, since few work as well as I would like, I'm always on the lookout for updates or alternatives. Quickplan however, seems to fit the bill from the start with good uncomplicated features. I like the way I can view Projects drilled down into tasks, sub tasks, sub sub tasks etc. along a timeline. Am not a project planner, but I needed something to allow me organize steps, activities and processes. This application is very good for that. The fact that I can do this in an Ipad helps me avoid having to pull the laptop out, specially since I am on the road constantly. The app has everything I need. The only 2 drawbacks are that for the price ($10 at the moment of this review) I would have expected the export to pdf and excel to be included. These are optional features that have to be unlocked by paying an extra fee. The only unlocked (free) option for export is jpeg (image), not bad, but not perfect. All in all I like the application and recommend it. It comes with several sample projects to use as guides or templates, and I even emailed the developer for a sample of the proposal template in the demo, and they answered quickly. Mind you importing and exporting of projects also require activation fee of som $2 bucks, but is available. 4 stars out of 5 only because I think the price should include the export options, otherwise it is a very nice app for those of us on the road. ### 5/5 — Vraiment bien ! *2015-05-27, version 6.1* Après en avoir essayé 2, 3, celui-ci est vraiment bien, plutôt intuitif, agréable à utiliser, puissant, joli, alors que d'autres étaient soit très limités soit très austères et difficilement compréhensibles. SO I went for the "QuickPlan" but ended up with more expensive in-apps purchases for the so called "Advanced Features". 1. Importing from Microsoft Project .MPP, via Email, Airdrop, iCloud, Dropbox and iTunes; 2. PDF exporting; 3. Excel exporting and 4. Import iThought Map. Now the total cost is more than the "QuickPlan Pro". This normally has me smell a rat! But QuickPlan deserves it’s great reviews. From the very useful “How to Drive” it video at initial launch to the powerful UI. Turns out that it is really worth concentrating during this video, as most of what you want to do is flagged during this packed video. I found my self thinking, while entering my project, I wonder if I could… and most of the time I could. Add Resources, add Notes to a task, Add costs to a task, Change Currency Symbol. The only thing I wish I had spotted was the full version App, as now it seems I need to buy the functionality I want, a bit at a time. Not sure yet if I will win or lose as I have not made a decision on all the functions I need. Once you get the gist of the UI it is very easy to drive with multiple keyboard shortcuts available. In short: BRAVO!! A downside I found. Printing is not part of the basic package if you want more than 100 tasks, and then it is just an image created not an editable output. Output to PDF is an extra from the basic package. Feature Request: Basic Printing Please. ### 5/5 — Rapido ed efficace *2021-07-30, version 13.3* Lo uso per gestire cantieri e progetti architettonici. Non é forse il software più completo e complesso del suo genere, ma permette di realizzare cronoprogrammi efficaci, anche mediamente complessi in modo facile ed intuitivo. Risultano semplici anche le modifiche e gli aggiornamenti periodici delle singole voci. Ne ho provati parecchi, ma se la necessità é quella di gestire professionalmente cronoprogrammi di media complessità lo trovo assolutamente adatto. Molto comoda la doppia azione sia su iPad che su Mac con il sistema di archiviazione in cloud. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Is it possible have the option to stitch the week number to “ISO week-numbering”? ### 5/5 — Surprisingly simple to sophisticated *2019-03-23, version 9.0* The hallmark of a great app is a simple one that “hides” the distractions of its advanced sophistication. This app is like owning a simple, very useful pickup truck, that by the way is hiding thee top 4x4 suspension and a corvette engine! I can say as a professional program manager that this app has all the functionality that 99% of the users will ever need—with the best user interface of any PM app (I’ve tried them all). An example of what the other 1% may need would be the use of the rare and elusive dependency species called: “Start to Finish”, found in MS Project or Smartsheet. Trust me, you’ll never need this dependency unless you’re launching the space shuttle. I really hope these guys stay viable and in business—they truly get the essence of project management and built this for PMs from the ground up. The most important priority being getting the work done, not working on a project plan. If they don’t stay in business, you have plenty of export options for a reasonable price... but I think we’ll see these guys grow out of control soon! ### 5/5 — The best Gantt chart software. *2019-01-21, version 9.0* The best Gantt chart software.
