When you create a file. That file is in the local app of that device. It’s not synced to another device. Not in iCloud either. You have to export it into iCloud manually. And then you think the changes would just reflect in the iCloud file right? Nope. The iCloud file is a copy of the in-app file. So when you open the file in iCloud on another device, it would be the version of the file at the moment you exported it. And you would have two copies on two separate devices. Sounds confusion right? Because it is. It’s basically the same saving and syncing mechanism from early 2010s, but without the save button beyond export. Workaround for syncing: 1. Make sure you export the file to iCloud when you done working or viewing a project on each device, and export the file to replace the old file. 2. Close the app after you have exported, as your edit won’t then be saved on the iCloud copy. 3. When you open that file on another device, it creates a local in-app file. You are no longer working with the iCloud file. So export and replace the iCloud file afterwards, and close the in-app file, so that you don’t accidentally mistaken it as the newest version when you have worked on another copy of the file on another device. In 2026, this is still how the “syncing” mechanism of this works. Tell me if I’m missing anything. I assume it’s not a difficult fix, to just have one source of truth. Otherwise the app has been great. Wer weiß wann hier die älteren IOS Versionen nicht mehr unterstützt werden. Nicht jeder möchte sich regelmäßig mit neuer Hardware eindecken. Mal abgesehen von den Kosten ist das nicht unbedingt umweltfreundlich 😒 Liebes Entwicklerteam lasst euch doch nicht zum Vasallen Apple‘s und Ihrer Verkaufspolitik machen! However, it is useless without the ability to use week numbers. All my work is done in week numbers. On the MacOS app there is very limited ability to use week numbers. You can display the week number INSTEAD of the week of the year. This is not really very good but better than nothing. However, there is no such option on the iPAD or iPhone app. This renders it useless for me. If you need to use week numbers, this is not the app for you! Also, iCloud integration across devices is not good. It doesn’t save all changes and I have to close and reopen the app from iCloud in order to see any updates. Also, I had to pay for this app THREE times to get it on my Mac, iPhone and iPad. Even though it is the same app! It’s absolutely worth the plunge. Gantt charts can be quite complex, so it’s remarkable how intuitive this app makes managing them, particularly with how small my phone’s screen is compared to an iPad. I am a market research professional and have been using the app every day for a year as a personal tracker for the status of survey fieldwork. I can’t speak to any collaboration features or the desktop app, but for my purposes, it gets a strong recommendation. ### 2/5 — Not a proper iPad app *2021-04-26, version 13.1* Although available in the iPad section of the App Store, this is just a scaled version of the iPhone app. Doesn’t work well on iPad nor support keyboard (very buggy) ### 5/5 — Just as good as the iPad version *2021-03-15, version 13.1* This is a scaled down version of the iPad app. I phones are simply too small to do major work with but it is excellent to edit dates quickly on the field. The quick plan iPad app is amazing and if I can only have one i prefer the iPad. The export features are also excellent! Feedback to the developers, it would be great if there were a few more features regarding resourcing. Such as team member utilisation reporting and the ability to add resource mid task. ### 5/5 — Important. ! *2020-05-25* 1) A very important and convenient side is integration with the Calendar. Ideally, when the program itself automatically (after a command) integrates all the key dates into the Calendar (for example, this function can be assigned to Rhombus). That is, all positions in the program that are assigned a rhombus or square symbol are automatically transferred to the Calendar (after one click on the instruction to integrate into the Calendar. 2) When integrating into the Calendar, an important point is the correctness of filling in the fields in the Calendar itself. There are many Calendars in the calendar and many events from them. Calendar integration form (automatically). The name of the Event is registered (for example, a rally). In a new line (below) the name of the Project is registered. In the new stock (below), the Name of the parent program (Fine print, gray) is written. Convenience - minimal human involvement. Clearly my review is titled to acknowledge the issue. My point is that I am certain most serious users are iPad, and Apple store shows your iPhone version first or only. My review stands because you dont have the integrity to boldly say this is this the wrong version for iPad. I purchased this APP for my iPad and the first thing that I noticed is that the APP is not only optimized for iPhone, but that if you do not own an iPhone, the APP will still run on your iPad, but it will be cumbersome and difficult to use. Personally, I always carry my iPad with me. The thought of trying to use Gantt charts on a tiny phone screen is really anathema. What real function could you hope to gain? Now that I am an older gent, I don’t use my phone for any financial or business inquiry. All of that is done on my iPad where data can be displayed in a functional fashion. To me this version, is a total gimmick. If you see it first on the search list on Apple store, keep scrolling down, they have a superior iPad version that is twice the price, but actually works the way that the iPhone promises but does not deliver. If you accidentally purchase this version this version and want to upgrade to the iPad version, there is no Customer Service or Support. The seller is unresponsive. Their site says that you can purchase both, but no refunds. I have tried, but in the long run, I paid almost $30 for the iPad version. I like it, it works great. STAY AWAY from this version. It does not seem at all user friendly, I think it was a complete waste of money. You’ll have to buy another app twice as expensive to use it on iPad and it will not link to the iPhone account. Even after figuring out how to add the predecessor column, I still can’t add any predecessors to it. This is one of the most basic and critical functions required for project management. I think it is outstanding. I’d like a way to highlight days where no work was done. I’d also like a way to put multiple milestones on one line. All in all, it’s quick, intuitive, powerful, and it has nice output functions.
