Doesn’t have hardly ANY older books. No place to change settings or anything. What a scam. ### 3/5 — Needs Improvement *2025-07-21* I have not been able to level many books because they do not have them in their database. For the free version you get only so many scans per day. One thing that I’ve noticed is that some books will have a second barcode inside the front cover of the book. This barcode typically works better than the one on the back of the book. As far as the limited number of scans in the free version, only successfully identified books count towards the daily limit. QuickScan scans and positively identifies thousands of books per day, and it does work for the vast majority of books that our users scan. There’s no way to go back and look at the books I have previously scanned. As you say, anyone can use QuickScan for no fee for a limited number of scans per day forever. There are never any ads, your information is not tracked, uploaded anywhere, or sold. For users who require a higher number of scans per day, QuickScan does offer unlimited scanning for a monthly or annual subscription, or a one-time fee. If someone subscribes and then cancels, they are still able to use QuickScan daily for a small number of scans.
