## What is QuickSpeak AAC?

QuickSpeak AAC is an augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) app intentionally designed for individuals with speech impairments, post-operative patients, elderly users, and those battling ALS. Through its thoughtfully crafted, high-contrast interface, QuickSpeak bridges the gap between silence and conversation.

• Eye Tracking Compatible & Auto-Scan: Compatible with iOS built-in Eye Tracking and Switch Control. Features a built-in auto-scan engine with hover-to-select, enabling patients with severe motor limitations to navigate and speak independently. 
• Emergency Quick Panel: An isolated, hyper-fast emergency dashboard (e.g., "I'm in Pain", "Need Nurse") that functions reliably even during database issues, backed by haptic feedback and immediate TTS interruption. 
• Cognitive & A11y Design: Color-coded using a Fitzgerald Key-based system to visually distinguish word types (nouns, verbs, adjectives). Features large target areas to reduce eye strain and cognitive overload.
