It’s easy to add videos from YouTube but no other platforms yet. Hope it will be able to easily upload from voice memos too in the future. I would also love it it had more of a difference between the Outline and Study Guide, as they tend to be nearly identical. All in all, a great tool that will hopefully keep evolving! ### 5/5 — She’s her *2024-10-12* I truly love everything about this app, I’ve been searching for something like this for a while. You still have lots of features on the free version, and the paid version is truly affordable and reasonable pricing. My professor has a tendency to mention topics that aren't included on the powerpoint and I'm too busy trying to write to remember word for word what he said. Thanks to QuickTakes I'm able to understand the key concepts that my professor mentions during lecture. And the practice option is crazy helpful for studying for my exams. If you tend to get lost or need something repeated but are too shy to ask the professor, then download QuickTakes!! This is great for sitting and listening then reviewing later. Unfortunately, you need to pay for more time and sometimes summaries will be inaccurate, but there’s a transcript to look back at that’s been very useful for notes. ### 4/5 — Great Concept, Great Execution *2024-05-07* It works really well, you should go through all content to ensure it all reads easily before filing away as revision material, but it’s pretty accurate I would say. My only issue is I do almost all of my studies on iPad and the scaling is very nonexistent. If you are predominantly an iPad user and are comfortable with the mobile scaling then you won’t have any issues. I wish that theee were more reviews since this app is truly AMAZING. It has chat features, glossary, videos to understand the concepts, and so much more. I am currently using this for my organic chemistry 1 class and it is helping me a lot for my final. Coming soon! ### 4/5 — So convenient for students 🤩 *2024-03-16* This is probably such a convenient app to have as a student for lectures. It generates the recording into an outline, study guide, there’s even a glossary and links to videos based on the recording! 🤩 The only downfall that I recently figured out after using the app..there isn’t an option to be able to listen to that recording if you are recording directly through the app. I know there’s a transcript but I think it’d be helpful to also listen to the recording to work with the outline/study guide. I hope they’re able to come up with that as an option! Also forgot to mention, every week you get 90mins free to use and refreshes each week which is really cool. Overall it’s a great app and I’d recommend to my other friends/classmates and if you don’t wanna type up a whole outline study guide this helps a lot :)))) **Developer response:** Thanks for the nice review! I’ve reinstalled the app again log in on google account and the message appeared and said to try again because of the connection. And I paid for 80hrs of recording which has been useless so far. Worked better on Samsung ### 1/5 — would give it a 0 *2024-02-08* I don’t really like this app. i recorded a 30 minutes lecture..only 30 min because we were watching a video and i stopped because i didn’t want notes on it and it said error and that there wasn’t enough information. and if won’t reload it just kept saying error…this app is great in theory not well executed. And now all of my previous recordings are not only gone but the summaries are locked now?? And half the features are gone? And I don’t believe there’s a cloud so if I delete to troubleshoot could completely wipe it if it’s there but I can’t see it due to a bug.m I love to use this app to create classes on topics I struggle with Edit: I saw in another review’s response that the developers said to go to the website; I did and some of my stuff is there!
