### 5/5 — Works great

*2019-10-03, version 12.1.2*

After the most recent patches this is a wonderful app to get you started on everything you need for tuning in Forza Horizon 4. Helps me get that new vehicle to race ready a whole lot quicker then trying to tune myself. Thanks, developer.

### 5/5 — Easy use

*2019-09-18*

I’ve use the app for quite some time now and over the time it’s been out. I’ve seen big improvements on the tunes for each separate car. Very easy to use

**Developer response:** Thank you!

### 5/5 — Great App for good basic tune

*2019-09-01*

If you’re like me and have no idea where to even begin to tune a car, this App definitely points you in the right direction. This App is a god send. I use it for all my tunes. You just then fine tune as need be and you’ll be positioning in live races or drifting around corners in no time

**Developer response:** Thank you!

### 5/5 — Great app

*2019-06-13, version 8.1*

Instantly improved my performance on online adventure and made a significant difference to the controllability of all of my cars, in a good way. Would absolutely recommend

### 5/5 — Great

*2019-03-06, version 4.1*

Only problems I fine is I have to keep changing between kg and lb to get the right setup and kw to hp to get the figures for uk game play

### 5/5 — Lowkey needed this for a while

*2019-01-20*

I’m horrible at tuning. The descriptions for the tuning in game are too long. This made my car godly!!!

**Developer response:** Thank you!

### 5/5 — Great app

*2018-12-30, version 2.1*

Works well for forza horiZon four, just wish that there was a little more customization was the newer vehicles quicker other than that it’s great

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Nonsense Tuning

*2020-05-31*

I know pretty well how to tune in FH4, just wanted to evaluate my tuning formulas and found this app really nonsense for all types of tuning that it offers.
I suggest to try Forza Tune 7 app for tuning, not perfect but much better than this one.
Sorry developer, I hope you work harder and improve the app.

### 1/5 — 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

*2020-01-14*

Very bad investment

### 2/5 — No option for drag tuning

*2019-04-03*

I bought this app so I could make my drag times better, but it seems that it does not help it just makes them slower.

**Developer response:** Support for drag tuning has now been added. Would you mind updating your review if you like it? Thank you!

### 2/5 — Meh

*2019-01-29*

Be a lot better if it had different categories for instance drag tunes, drift tunes, etc...
It’s just basically out of the shop tunes that aren’t really good.

**Developer response:** Support for drift and drag tuning has now been added. Would you mind updating your review if you like it? Thank you!

### 3/5 — Honestly sometimes can’t decide if I like the app.

*2020-03-27*

There’s been a couple of cars that I’ve used this app for a starting point to get me started with a tune and loved the end results. But then there’s some instances where I really have to scratch my head over what I get outta using it. Idk what I could be doing wrong but there’s been times where I can’t even drive the cars it’ll be so bad. I don’t do anything different so maybe the developers could give me some pointers. I kinda wish there was suggested parts upgrade list just so I can compare and see if maybe it’s because I didn’t get a critical upgrade or something that could be the culprit for some of the head scratching results. I don’t think I’ve tuned a car with the app that didn’t have ridiculous understeer issues which would be my biggest complaint bcuz there’s more than one way to get rid of understeer and for me it takes quite a bit of testing and what not which at the end of the day doesn’t seem worth the money I’ve paid.

**Developer response:** Please contact me at fb@fiftyinch.com and I can help you out with specific cars as I need more details.

### 3/5 — Gearing????

*2019-09-26*

Most gearing for most cars weather you chose accel or top speed remains the same as default gearing that comes with vehicle with just final drive adjusted. Not really that helpful in gearing at all honestly. Would like to see some changes and for other adjustments outside of gearing I’ve found helpful but still pretty basic. It is called QuickTune after all though right?

**Developer response:** UPDATE: With the latest updates QuickTune H4 now offers season and track specific tunes which will provide more diverse gearbox setups.

### 3/5 — Needes every car in the game and more types of tunes

*2019-07-10, version 9.0*

😢😢

### 4/5 — Forza 5 Update

*2021-11-09, version 59.0.1*

Will it get a FH5 update or do I have to spend money on another app?

### 4/5 — Good

*2021-02-16, version 47.1.1*

Only problem is that I race 1/4 miles and it’s not the fastest possible tune

### 4/5 — Overall Very Useful

*2019-07-14*

Very handy tool to determine a base tune for a car, and I appreciate that it gives you choices based on the kind of driving you will be doing. There are only two drawbacks that I can see.

1: It doesn’t have the more recent cars such as the Mercedes-Benz X-Class, and the Chevrolet Caprice. Bit of a shame because I was looking forward to using this app to help tune those, so I hope it is still being updated.

2: The gearing calculations it makes seem to be excessively short sometimes. They would limit top speed with no advantage to acceleration, as far as I can tell. It also only seems to make calculations for final drive, even though it lists all gears.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the constructive feedback! I always strive to make QuickTune better so feedback for improvements is always welcomed! I will look into the gearing regarding top speed tunes.

As for missing cars: I’m constantly updating the app with new cars as soon as I have access to them. Support for the X-Class will be available with next update for instance. I‘m not aware of the Chevrolet Caprice though, are you sure it’s in Horizon 4?

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Very helpful

*2025-08-26*

As a casual adult gamer with way too much other stuff to do, learning how to tune cars and experimenting with each car is just not something that’s going to happen. But thanks to this app I’m having MUCH more fun with the cars in my garage!

**Developer response:** Thanks a lot!

### 5/5 — What an awesome app!

*2022-01-04*

A little late to the party but H4 is cheap on sale nowadays! I’m not a car guy at all, I barely even play racing games, but after reading online about how tuning can actually significantly affect the quality of your driving experience I felt that I was missing out on some cars by disliking their handling when it was likely fixable through tuning that I didn’t understand.

Actually found this app through the developer’s very thorough and knowledgeable guide on Horizon 4 tuning, but after a few pages my head began to spin and I tapped out to use this tuning app instead, and it’s brilliant! I feel like I’m cheating, but after using this to tune my Baja Bug for snow rally, there is a noticeable improvement in the quality of the handling and I couldn’t be more excited to tune my other cars! Lots of options and your tune is likely only as good as your accuracy at selecting the settings for what you desire.

And any true beginners like me don’t be a dolt and fail to notice that the horsepower and other settings are text entry, they’re not just telling you your horsepower and weight etc., you need to type those details in to get a correct tuning! Definitely worth five bucks, especially seeing how much work went into the tuning guide on the dev’s website, thank you for your hard work!

**Developer response:** Thanks a lot for your thorough review, this is much appreciated!

### 5/5 — Fantastic App for Quick Tuning

*2021-12-10*

I’ve used this app for a long time now and finally decided to leave a review as the new version for FH5 has been released. I appreciated how quickly new cars were added into the app as they were released into the game as well. I’m looking forward to using the new version for FH5!

**Developer response:** Thank you!

### 5/5 — Excellent! Simple

*2021-09-26*

Knew nothing but this app does everything for you. Also, I am starting to understand it for myself which I didn’t think would happen with such a fool proof app.
I’d buy that for 5 Bucks!

**Developer response:** Thank you!

### 5/5 — Great app would wholly recommend

*2021-03-12, version 50.0.1*

This app is an amazing bit of kit and I would I highly recommend it.
I started tuning on this app and when I did so I had absolutely no idea what I was doing, it has given me the ability to be able to know what my car is missing and tweak accordingly.
It’s extremely easy to use and has a wide array of extensions to get the best out of your car, whether it be racing, drag, drift, dry, wet or snow quick tune H4 has got what you need.
The support and regular updates make this an unmissable investment, what are you waiting for ?!!.

### 5/5 — it’s still a great app

*2020-09-29*

Do you think you can try to improve the drag racing set up cause I use awd on most and I’d like if it can be a little more four wheel drive so I can get the grip needed thank you for looking Over the review it’s still a great app

**Developer response:** Thank you! I’ll look into improving AWD drag tunes.

### 5/5 — Ummm kinda confused

*2020-07-23*

So, I put in the credentials of my custom 2017 zl1 and I had a previous tune on it that I enjoyed but I am very new to tuning. I used the tube the app gave me after the calculations and it actually made my car slower? Please help?

**Developer response:** What do you intend to do? Going for high speed? Then you should use tune type Drag. If want to tune for actual racing try the Speed preset.

### 5/5 — Wow...

*2020-02-28*

I’ve been looking for something like this for a while now! I hate downloading other people’s tunes bc it’s either not my driving style or something else. Now I have a platform to work off of if I need to make small adjustments. Thank you so much.

**Developer response:** Thank you!

### 5/5 — Fair

*2020-01-23*

It would be a nice calculator but is always behind when new cars are released ... however it’s good for the list of cars... And other thing is that the tubings don’t give any 300+ miles an hour tunes..

**Developer response:** Thank you! As opposed to the competition I actually need to obtain new cars to gather all required data before I can update the App. Add to this a usual 2 day app approval period from Apple so new cars can be supported as early as 2 days after release time. Also I don’t want to update the app for just one car so I’ll usually wait at least two seasons unless we’re talking about exceptional cars.

### 5/5 — Indespensible H4 Companion

*2019-11-28, version 12.5*

Even if you casually dipping into H4, this is a must. The setups are great for casual players looking to get a much better setup than the game default and for intermediates it gives you a great baseline to tweak from and get that last tenth off.

The Forza 6 and 7 apps are even more handy because tuning is much more important on the track.

I’m not super competitive, I got this app to make the game more fun to play by making ‘weaker’ cars more suitable to my play-style.

If you’re drifting in the Forza series this app and its sister apps are essential.

Simple interface, all the tools you need and adds value and longevity to the game it supports.

What more can you ask for?
