Not anymore. It is not worth using this app if you cannot transfer your files. The app said I have to upgrade in order to share it, but it won’t let me upgrade. So I can’t access my recording. I’ve used this app 1 million times. What the heck happened? ### 4/5 — Minor Tweaks Needed *2023-11-28, version 3.0.4* I love this app and use it often. However, there are a few challenges such as how files are listed and cannot be sorted. It makes it a challenge to find certain recordings. Also if a file is mistakenly deleted there has to be a fail-safe put in place to retrieve the file; especially since the app will sort the files in a random manner. Other than that, the app is easy to use and recommended. ### 1/5 — Lost all my voice recordings *2023-01-24, version 3.0.4* I was super happy with this app, used it to record ideas, thoughts and reminders - while home, in the car, or commuting. Fix Bug! *2021-11-12, version 3.0.4* I have my QuickVoice account setup to sync to my iCloud, however since the update all my voice memos have disappeared and although my iCloud shows that I have 480.6 MB it won’t add them into the app on my iPhone 12 Pro nor my iPad Pro using iOS 15.1. ### 1/5 — Unable to download data from iClouds *2021-10-16, version 3.0.4* I have upgrades iPhone 13 pro. Data is backed up on data iCloud but app is unable to download it from there. I have accidentally deleted several important recordings, and there is no way to get them back. The app doesn’t even ask you to confirm before you delete something! This is a serious issue. ### 1/5 — Super Disappointed *2021-08-03, version 3.0.4* I used to love this app. It was very easy to use and have had it for many years. I used it to record songs that I may thing of at the moment but can”t write them down or just need to remember the melody and other things. After years of recording that I only have on this app, I realized that it erased all of my content. Even if you have back up to iCloud on, it will still erase your memos/recording. Super disappointed. I’ve lost priceless recordings. ### 1/5 — Lost all voice notes after update *2021-07-31, version 3.0.4* I downloaded the mandatory update and the app appears to have deleted my 6+ years of recordings, with no clear way to retrieve them. Feeling really upset about this ### 2/5 — Everything’s gone. *2021-07-16, version 3.0.4* I’ve been using this for years and it’s worked great. I record song ideas and rehearsals and it’s easy to use. Opened up the app today to discover that everything is gone - for no reason. It’s not like I updated the app or my phone anything. And I’m pretty sure I’ve even paid a bit extra to be able to send larger files from it? I’ve tried to use the “help” form but it’s so outdated and didn’t even work. ### 1/5 — Company not in business??? *2021-06-23, version 3.0.4* I’m posting this hoping the developer sees this. I tried to contact through the website, and it goes to a page saying the website is for sale when you submit the form. (Although oddly it’s a different website address with a dash). Previous rating was 5 stars. I’ve used this since probably since 2012. Easy for a quick recording and does well recording voice, choir, and pipe organ performances. Can choose high quality setting and email to self easily. PROBLEM: suddenly in the last couple months, it deleted all of my recordings going back 8 YEARS!!! OMG. ALL GONE. 😭 — and it seems the software is deleting my files every single night. — this is why I tried to contact the developer to see if there’s a setting I need to change which I couldn’t find in my iPhone/QuickVoice settings. Sadly, I think I’m going to have to find a new recorder. But honestly it might be for the best since there was no sorting feature in this and it would organize it haphazardly not even in chronological order. Bummed. Ps. I have iPhone 10 with updated software. And it worked great on my iPhone 6. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Bummed. Company 404-unresponsive/unreachable. ### 1/5 — Worst App Ever… you will lose everything *2026-01-01, version 2024.9.1* In order to use the audio files I recorded on my computer the app required me to purchase it. So I did’ The second I paid for this app it deleted all of my recordings. I paid twenty five thousand dollars for a few day event that is just dumped down the toilet. I couldn’t give these people a low enough review if I tried, and I can’t even say how much I hate your worthless software and company. Purchased upgrade and simply does not work. Deleted and reinstalled trying to fix. No way to restore purchase. Submitted for refund. Great potential if all its problems are resolved. I got a new phone because my old one (iPhone 13) died, won’t charge, power on, etc. All of my recordings were supposed to be synced/saved to my iCloud, but when I set up my new phone—absolutely none of my recordings are available within the app on my new iPhone 14.
