It’s even better that you can turn it to text. HOWEVER..there are different variations of quick pro applications and I have use this require some time but because I got a new upgraded phone, I LOST ALL - YEARS of my recordings which includes my dad‘s voice who passed away years ago and now I can’t retrieve it because this particular one evidently doesn’t have accessibility for iCloud yet the other ones do. There is no search option, which would help. As soon as you try and use it it kick you out won’t load properly. Now when I play back a recording the play button dont work but tapping the recording it will play. Also with the upgrade, there is no way to send a recording to someone else…in the old version I could. I see the cotton of the word, but no matter how much clicking I do near that area, it never results in the file being saved. I used it twice — first time it had a bunch of weird bubbling background noise, second time I tried in a quiet room and it still sounded messed up. I deleted the app right after. I picked the free trial option and never used it past a few minutes. But they still charged me anyway. On top of that, now I can’t download ANY other app on my Phone unless I pay for this thing I didn’t even want. I’m super frustrated and honestly feel scammed. Apple needs to look into apps like this. I purchased this version so I could record song lyric, my kids, conversations with my parents who have since passed away. I’m so sad. I’ve gone to the App Store but it showed me no updates and if I select “open” it opens it but there is no play or record but. If I select a recording and press play it closes the app. If you can help me at least retrieve these wonderful recorded memories that would be wonderful. Please contact me. My problem is when I attempt to give my recording a name this big white sheet with ‘add reminder’ appears and it will not go away! When I pull down the window, at the top I see where one can title your recording, but it will not appear naturally as it does on my older mini iPad. It’s so simple and easy to use. I have it installed on both my iPhone and iPad, so if I want to record a phone call, I just put the phone on speaker and record on the iPad. I have recorded entire proceedings on it, thereby saving the cost and wait for a written transcription. And it’s so much better hearing the actual testimony than just reading it. The voice quality is great. And I’m only using the medium setting. It’s so handy to have. My friend uses it to record her mother’s doctor visits so she can be sure about what was said. There are so many uses for it.
