Twenty-three PDF tools that live on your phone. Most of them never send your document anywhere. Scanning, signing, merging, redacting, compressing, password-protecting — all of it happens on the device, so a contract, a payslip or a passport scan stays where it already is. Turn on aeroplane mode and almost everything still works. SCAN AND CREATE • Scan document — photograph pages straight into a PDF, using the same scanner iOS uses itself • Images to PDF — turn a roll of photos into one document • PDF to images — export any page as a JPG ORGANISE • Merge — combine several files into one • Split — break a document into parts • Organize — drag pages into a new order • Remove pages, Extract pages, Rotate, Crop MARK UP • Sign — draw your signature once and place it where you want it • Watermark — stamp text across every page • Page numbers — number a document properly • Fill form — type into a PDF's own form fields PROTECT • Protect — lock a file with AES-256 encryption • Unlock — remove a password you already know • Redact — black out text so it is genuinely gone, not merely covered up Redaction here rasterises the page rather than drawing a rectangle over the words. A black box on top of live text can be selected, copied and undone; this removes the text itself, so there is nothing left underneath. Rendering those formats faithfully needs a real office engine, which cannot run on a phone, so the file goes to our converter, is converted, and is deleted. Photos come out as the exact original bytes, untouched. • PDF metadata: see the hidden record a file carries, edit the title, author and keywords, or strip everything for privacy before sharing. Also small fixes and polish throughout. ### 1.0.3 — 2026-09-04 Compress got a new engine. • Every kind of image now shrinks: scans, screenshots, photos and design artwork, including CMYK files from design tools. Files that barely changed before can drop by 90 percent or more. • New Custom option: pick a target as a percent of the original or an exact size in MB, and the app works through stronger settings until your file fits. • If images alone cannot reach your target, only the heaviest pages become pictures and every other page keeps selectable text. The result tells you exactly what happened. • Oversized images are resized to sensible dimensions, which is where most of the savings come from. Text and vector drawings stay sharp. Also small fixes and polish throughout. ### 1.0.2 — 2026-09-01 Signing got a proper upgrade. • Place as many signatures and stamps as you need, across any pages, then sign once. • Stamps keep their exact shape. A round stamp stays round. • Tap any placed mark to move it, resize it or remove it. Also fixed: • Signed copies of documents that came from Word, Excel or PowerPoint conversions could refuse to open in some PDF readers.
