I’m in a habit now of always searching in the app first before making a purchase. It’s a con, an out and out fraudulent company app! This seemed quite a good app at first. You’ll get a few discounts back. But the more you use it and build discounts. Then sooner or later your account will freeze up. Suddenly you can’t get money back. When you contact customer service your put into a running roundabout of rubbish. Then you’re suddenly put into a fraud investigation when you have to submit a huge amount of personal information from sales going back 2 years. Then when you do that and satisfy all the questions tick all the boxes. Suddenly you’re at the back of the queue again as they are getting a huge amount of enquiries. Probably from all the app users trying to get their discount money. It’s a con, a fraud ! Apple should buy a stop to the app. ### 1/5 — Absolute waste of time! Tracked only once in an entire year 🤬 *2026-08-06, version 11.15.0* I have been using Quidco for a full year and the experience has been incredibly frustrating. In 12 whole months, it has only managed to successfully track my purchase automatically ONCE. For every other missing cashback claim, I have to wait up to six long months, only for them to end up being rejected anyway. What makes me so angry is that I specifically shop through them after seeing their advertised cashback rates, and I have already registered my bank card—so why does it constantly fail to track? It feels completely dishonest. Using this app is a complete waste of time. I am deleting my account and uninstalling the app immediately. Save yourself the hassle and stay away! ### 1/5 — Poor *2026-06-21, version 11.15.0* Quidco very rarely tracks your cash back and the appeals process via AI is extremely annoying! ### 1/5 — Scammers *2026-05-11, version 11.13.0* Don’t give you the correct cashback. When they FINALLY add any amounts owed to your Quidco account, when trying to withdraw they kick you out of the account and won’t let you back in. This is a scam to obtain your data. ### 1/5 — Privacy concerns and clunky *2026-05-10, version 11.13.0* Doesn’t work with basic Apple privacy requirements, such as private relay in safari. This is a MAJOR issue. On top of that: Used to be great but now doesn’t track properly and have implemented AI to resolve missed tracking. This takes 20 minutes of your time for each claim and the window for making a claim is only a few weeks. AI is clunky and keeps asking for confirmation of basic things, as if to deter you from submitting a claim. This is what happens when you remove humans from the process. As I make most of my purchases through them, it’s now too much effort and as things don’t track and take up my time, I’ll be moving to an alternative. Was good whilst it lasted. ### 1/5 — Quick forces you to download their app *2026-03-27, version 11.11.1* Only let's you enter a custom amount for withdrawels in the app (not on desktop or on a browser), forcing you to install the app for what is a basic feature. This has been the case for years so 1 star! ### 1/5 — Missing Cashback *2026-03-22, version 11.10.3* I have not used Quidco for ages but I tried recently for a credit card. The application didn't track and I tried to raise a claim. They refused the claim because they didn't have cookies. However I definitely used the app. What a con! I find it frustrating having to confirm all booking details again only to have the claim go nowhere, additionally chatting to bots. I’ve emailed a support person who didn’t even follow up my claim. I’ve been using it for about 5 years now. I have tried others but find them complicated but with Quidco it’s simple I just search what I want and do my normal shop. I leave the money in my Quidco account and usually withdraw around Christmas time. It’s a big help. It took a while to get into the habit but now I do it all the time. It takes a while for the cash to start showing in the account but now I have money going in all the time. I’ve withdrawn over £700 from my Quidco account and I check my Quidco balance every now and then and I’m always surprised to see how much is in there. It’s literally free money.
