## What is Quiet Shelf?

Something for your hands when there's a lot on your mind.

Your phone is full of places that want something from you. Quiet Shelf is a place that wants nothing: a shelf of quiet games for busy days. Your hands have something to do, your thoughts are free to wander. You put them down whenever you like, and you owe them nothing. For the evening when your head is still full of the day, for a journey, for the moment you reach for your phone to switch off.

Sand you draw grooves into. Colours you pour from vial to vial until each holds just one. Wires you turn until the whole thing lights up. And things that keep going by themselves while you listen to an audiobook or your mind is elsewhere.

IT NEVER PINGS YOU

It waits until you open it, and then you are straight in, no introduction. No notifications, no clock, no score. Stop after seventeen seconds or keep going for forty minutes. Nothing is lost, nothing is judged.

THREE SHELVES

Making: something with no right and wrong. Sand, Trickle, Mandala, Build.
Solving: bringing something to an end. Vials, Wires, Sudoku, Solitaire, Mahjong and more.
Letting it run: keeping in motion. Three Alike, Fill, Slide, Snake.

You decide how it ends: whatever runs by itself can keep going endlessly or be played as a single round, whichever feels right. With Vials and Gradient you choose the level.

PAY ONCE, NO ADS

Free and complete: Sand, Vials, Wires and Three Alike. Not a demo, no time limit.

Everything else, and everything added later, unlocks with a single purchase. No subscription, no further costs. There are no ads, not even in the free version.

ON A PLANE, TOO

The app collects nothing, sends nothing and needs no connection. It works offline, in aeroplane mode exactly as it does at home.

Quiet Shelf was made by Hanna Bienert, an occupational therapist and musician. It started with her wanting to stack blocks on her phone. What would make it better for you? Tell her. Every wish is read.
